He also explores the history of menโs clothing and the importance of it, even for guys who donโt really care about clothes. Old Money Style offers keen insights on: how to assemble your โStarting Fiveโโthe 5 articles of clothing that make up the Old Money wardrobe; how to invest in garments rather than just buy clothes; how to shop less oftenโand save a lot of money along the way; how to avoid the most common, costly, and embarrassing wardrobe mistakes men still make today; how to look โwell-dressedโ without โdressing upโ; how to make getting dressedโand looking goodโa no-brainer every morning, and; how to understand what your clothing communicatesโand the single most important thing it should communicate. Perfect for Gen Z professionals, Millennials building careers, or Gen Xers reinventing their image, Old Money Style offers style tips for men, personal branding advice, and a concise guide to timeless wardrobe choices that whisper โclassโ rather than scream for attention. Itโs not about spending moreโitโs about choosing wisely, living gracefully, and projecting confidence. Old Money Style is the ultimate guide to lookingโand livingโlike the best version of yourself. Review: Excellent book - An excellent book for men who want to upgrade their image and style. Thank you Mr. Byron Tully for writing this book. Itโs concise, insightful, yet also fun to read. Review: Good book -- highly recommend - I just finished reading the hardback Gentleman's Edition. This is an excellent book, for at least three reasons (1) The advice on clothing is well written, sometimes humorous, and spot on; and (2) The advice concerns general principles rather than minutia about widths of lapels and depths of cuffs precise to one-eighth-inch increments (as so many others seem to lapse into); and (3) Most importantly, the author includes a well-thought-out philosophy that underpins his more specific thoughts on the clothing itself -- this alone is worth the cost of the book. I have read extensively on the topic of "old money," and have lived around it my entire life. In my opinion, Mr. Tully's new book is the best on the subject; consequently, I recommend the book without any hesitation whatsoever. For the record -- I have never met Mr. Tully. I just like his book!

Essential reading for the young man
The clothes recommended are a little to stuffy for my tastes sometimes, but, god, I wish I'd had this book when I was 22. I would have dressed much better and saved myself money. This author nails it.

Value-based style advice
I have been a long-time reader of Mr. Byron Tullyโs. Starting out with his original โOld Money Bookโ, I have managed to find nuggets of wisdom in his works that I continually treasure and apply. This recent installment has been a long-awaited and greatly appreciated extension of his โattireโ section from the โOld Money Bookโ. It lends a guiding hand for practical wardrobe choices with a nod to the time-tested classics. I appreciate how the author took his time to explain a brief history of each item and then offered a prescriptive recommendation for those, like myself, who may need more concrete guidance. This is truly a value-based way of dressing that allows you to not only wear the uniform (such as the starting five), but exude those crystallized and refined qualities.

Good primer
This book offers a solid introduction to dressing like the upper classes, but its snarky tone and lack of color photos detracts from the guidance offered.

Sage Advice
I recommend this book along with The Old Money Book. A gentleman dressed down will beat a jerk dressed up every day. Itโs about the inside as well as the outside, but the true goal should be to achieve both. Get comfortable with the clothes, but more importantly move through life with ease and grace.

Good Content. Surface Level Analysis.
Mr. Tully is offers a good insight into the style of the OMG (Old Money Guy), I just wish he would flesh those ideas out a bit more.

Generico, poco atractivo y cuidado. Irrelevante
Absolutamente irrelevante, No aporta nada, aburre y esta lleno de absurdos estereotipos. Una vision sobre el Estilo visto probablemente desde el Mid West norteamericano.
