Prounol Cerium Oxide is ideal for removing fine scratches, stains and scuff marks. However, deep scratches may require longer polishing times or multiple passes, and full removal may not always be possible.

How long does polishing take?

Our 2.5-micron cerium oxide removes scratches up to 2× faster than 1-micron. Results can appear in minutes, but deeper or wider scratches take time. Polishing is gradual—proper technique and tools deliver the best finish.

Is it safe for all glass types?

Yes, Prounol Cerium Oxide polishing powder is safe to use on all types of glass, including mirrors, windshields, marine glass, tempered glass and delicate items such as smartphone screens, watch faces, gemstones and ceramics.

Do I need to mix it with water?

Yes – it’s a powder. Mix only what you need with water for full control of quantity, consistency and strength. One pack lasts longer and is more cost-effective than pre-mixed slurries, which can expire faster.

Does it require special equipment?

For the best results, we recommend using a rotary tool (1500–2000 RPM) with a felt polishing pad. This setup ensures an even distribution and efficient polishing of glass surfaces.
