I did not seem to help with my shingles but the reason I am writing a review is because of what it has done for me post workout as well as for what it did for my arthritic big toe. I will simply say this about the toe: if I take monolaurin it doesn't hurt. If I don't it does. I am 56 and in great shape because I work out very hard 4 or 5 days a week. The first day I took it I found myself running at the mouth because of the good, clean energy I got from it. That lasted a day but I have had more energy in the morning since. After working out like a teenager might I don't crash even though I get tired physically. I am alert, and it doesn't matter if I work out in the morning or afternoon. I cannot drink even decaffeinated coffee so I am very sensitive to stimulants of any kind and this causes me zero problems in that regard. I found this reading reviews for curcumin (with bioperine) and suggest everyone try that too, and I give it 5 stars. Esberitox (5 stars) is awesome for bronchitis and colds if you take it at the first symptom. Both well reviewed and available at Amazon. Doctor's Best chelated magnesium helps my workout recovery quite a bit and supplements are needed by most people. It is said to help with anxiety, migraines, sleep and energy among others. AFter dinner I still feel good no matter how hard I worked out that day.

Four stars mean " I Like It" I would love it and the value of this brand if they would eliminate the Magnesium Stearate and Silica. I took 2 caps a day when I ordered their 90 count bottle size. I did not get any real results. I started taking 6 caps a day- 2 with every meal and the results hit hard and fast. I'm taking it for chronic Lyme disease and some other issues I have. Not a miracle yet as I haven't been on the high dose that long but the improvements are far better than my 4 month stint with Doxy 100 mg x2 a day. It also knocked out a UTI in less than two days on the higher dose. At the doses I'm taking I'd like the fillers to be removed as you start to wonder how negative are they to your health. I will give it a 5 star rating for results as I have tried many supplements that were supposed to be Lyme killers that did nothing. I don't get impressed easily but I'm starting to have hope I may actually get better because I am very busy and on the go 24/7 but Lyme disease in the chronic state can literally make life hell. Ok, I did a lot of research on various websites about Monolaurin and how it can cure so many things....and prevent so many things. I came to Amazon and bought this product. It seems to be a very good price for the quantity and quality. After ordering it took a week to arrive and was well packaged. The pills are farely big but easy to swallow. Each pill is 550mg so you have to take 2 to get the 1100mg dose....and it's recommended to take that dose twice a day (4 pills). Ofcourse you don't have too...you can take 1 pill a day and that will help your immune system but if you're sick, have a break out or want to kill a virus...it seems from reading many websites that taking at least 1800mg per day is what is required. I'm taking this product aswell as Oregano oil and Lynsine oil.....my immune system should be solid! ;o) My energy seems up and I feel fine. No side effects of any kind. I haven't seen a cheaper price so when I get to needing more, I'll definitely order from this seller again. Thx

I'm really just amazed at what this substance can do. I wasn't expecting much, as we are bombarded with media saying all supplements are a waste of money. However, after a long period of stress my immune system was obviously repressed. I had enormous acne breakouts that wouldn't go away, I was tired all the time, etc. The day I started taking this, two pills dosage, I looked in the mirror and had an awful pimple on my chin. I popped it, and had a scab with swelling. The next day when I was getting ready for work, I looked at my face and the pimple had healed to the point where it was a faint red smear, not even a scab. I know this sounds incredible after just one day of taking, but I am now a believer. However, I am still going through an adjustment phase, so take that into account if you start using. My body is killing off so many nasties I feel like I have the flu. In fact, one day I slept for 9 hours, woke up and ate breakfast, went back to sleep, woke up at 5pm, then went to bed at 10pm for another 9 hours of sleep.
