We have been trying to put an end to the geese eating and defecating on our lawn for many years and have not been very successful. When I read about Goose Stopper, I was convinced this would do the trick. I carefully followed the mixing and application instructions and then waited patiently for the geese to show up. We sat on our porch and could see the geese off in the distance making their way to the shore and our property. We had smiles on our face waiting for them to jump up on the wall and start eating the grass. Our smiles quickly turned into frowns as the geese ate the grass as if we had applied a tasty dressing to their late afternoon meal. This was very disappointing. Maybe I didn't do it right. The next day I shook the container longer and again made sure the sprayer was clean. I mixed one part Goose Stop and 9 parts of water and resprayed the perimeter. The perimeter is the top of the wall and about 2 to 3 feet of grass along the wall. The was is about 50 feet long. Later in the afternoon the geese appeared off in the distance. I was convinced this time it would certainly work with two applications of Goose Stopper applied in two days. Unfortunately, the results were the same. They ate the grass like it was a tasty salad. It had a money back guarantee so I returned it a few weeks ago. I have not heard back from them yet.

I run a marina where geese and droppings on the docks are a constant problem, and I have had great success with this product. The other reviewers complained that geese returned immediately, but my response is that this does not work like an electric dog fence or something like that. There is nothing (outside of a dog) that will repel geese no matter what. First off, geese migrate through here very often... One group may come in and leave, but the next day a new group arrives. Second, I always do multiple applications. This is more like a deterrent instead of an actual repellent. I love this stuff, and use it every year on the docks.

The first time i got one gallon of Goose Stopper, i used it by pouring it into an empty bottle of the mosquito repellent bottle that you connect to the water hose and sprayed the grass and the area on my island where the geese congregate each night. It did not work. The geese was all over my yard as usual. By 6:30 AM they made it into the top yard. I assumed that since i did not follow instructions was why it did not work. I bought another gallon and this time i bought a gallon sprayer and mix per manufacturers instructions and sprayed the yard and island. The results were the same. My island was thick with geese poop and so was my yard. I also sprayed my neighbor's yard and used the whole gallon. Unfortunately same result. The geese was all over his dock which i had sprayed and his yard also. I am now trying some very bright solar lights that light up the island at night and so far that is working as the geese does not seem to like the bright daylight lighting. Unfortunately for me, Goose Stopper did not work so I cannot recommend.

I purchased 1 bottle of concentrate and put it in a 2 gallon sprayer. Sprayed small area just to test. It did not stop the geese. I bought 2 more bottles a few days later just to make sure to spray same area heavier and within an hour they were back and did not even slow them down from eating grass. I would give it less than one star but had to give something to submit this review.

We've had a problem with Canada Geese nesting in our yard every spring. The nest wasn't the problem as such, the amount of grass they eat and the other flowers / vegetation they sampled led to a bit of destruction to the landscape. Of course the by product is goose "droppings" everywhere. It is a bit pricey but it kept the geese away after one application. For some odd reason it didn't seem to affect the Mallard Ducks they continue to visit the yard. Definitely plan on using again next spring.

Does not work. Sprayed half the bottle on the front yard in the morning. That same afternoon the geese were back and all over the yard. Huge waste of money and time. 100% of that money down the drain.
