NEOGEN Dermalogy Real Fresh Foam Green Tea Facial Cleanser

I love this foam cleanser SO MUCH. It's my go-to Step 2 cleanser in my 10-step Korean skincare routine. It removes all the dirt and gunk from my pores that the oil cleanser would've left behind like a champ! The Step 2 cleanser, i.e. the foam or gel cleanser, is necessary even after using an oil cleanser (which is Step 1) because no oil cleanser, no matter how fancy, expensive, or fantastic, can remove ALL the impurities from your skin on its own. An oil cleanser removes the surface crap from your skin: the dirt, makeup, sunscreen, etc. Meanwhile, a foam cleanser (Step 2 - i.e. THIS cleanser) is used to clean out all the gunk from deep inside your pores. This Neogen green tea foam cleanser is just incredible to use. It's so effective, yet so gentle. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dried out, or tight, or uncomfortable in any way after I use it. It cleans out my pores but is gentle on my skin. And, bonus, it smells amazing! I love this cleanser. I've had it for 2 and a half months now, and I still have a ton left in my bottle. But I love this product so much that I already bought my second bottle, for when this one runs out (this time though, for the second bottle, I ordered it from Sephora).

I do not know what a heartleaf is, but this foaming face cleanser has a subtle earthly slightly citrusy smell to it. I read reviews mentioning the pump not working, but I did not experience that problem. The pump worked well and with two pumps, I had more than enough to quickly and thoroughly wash my face. I just decided to get this because I saw it on sale, but I'm happy with the purchase. The foam lathers up quite well, and my face felt very soft and clean after using it. My face also felt hydrated and not dried out at all.

I purchased this a month ago roughly and my skin texture and clarity has really improved. I have chronic acne and have had eczema that flares up mostly due to stress and lack of sleep (I work 70 - 80 hour weeks) and sudden weather changes and extreme dryness. As the other reviews have said, YES it does burn when applied and rubbed in for too long. At first I was disappointed because I thought this product might be a bust for me... However I gave it a go and eventually I noticed great results. My pores do not clog as easily and the texture of my skin (such as small bumps) are virtually gone. The trick is to leave it on your skin for a shorter time. Cleanser do not be rubbed in like crazy for it to do the trick. I understand wanting to feel clean (believe me I used to do this since I had such oily skin I felt gross unless my face was squeaky clean) but if your skin feels like acids being thrown on it, rince it off. It probably has already cleaned enough. Also this is a foaming cleanser. All you need to do is spread the foam on your face to cover the surface. Your skin needs to be treated gentle not like a carpet that you're trying to get sauce stain out of. I will try to use this for longer and if I stop noticing the benefits I will update again. For now, it's working well.

You really don’t need a lot of it to get a nice sudsy lather, it smelly yummie and there are cute little blueberries floating around to boot!!! I’m 60-ish that NEVER EVER GREW OUT OF THE SHINY FACE SYNDROME,!! For the love of Mike (Old Irish saying in my Mother in-Laws house) I’ll be in my casket at the funeral parlor at the ripe old age of let’s say. . .99!! NO DOUBT IN MY MIND MY FACE WILL STILL BE SHINY IF THEY DO NOT WASH IT WITH NEOGEN BLUEBERRY 🫐 FOAMING FACIAL WASH!!! Soooo. ..for all you ladies out there. . .YES YOU!!! You know EXACTLY WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!! For the price it is really worth it AND you don’t use a boatload of it so it stretches pretty far on usage. As for Donkey Milk that I read above (???) Do we REALLY NEED TO KNOW. . .I MEAN COME ON!!! There are the ULTRA USERES SUCH AS THAT. . .BUT THEN THERE ARE “US”. . .WE JUST KNOW THAT IT FOAMS UP REALLY FUN AND NICE. . .AND MOST IMPORTANTLY. . .IT LEAVEW MY FACE FEELING ABSOLUTELY CLEAN AND OIL SLICK FREE!!! It also cleared my face of my intermittent BREAKOUTS CAUSED BY STRESS. . .YESSS IM SURE IM 60-ish😂🤣🥲. . .I’ll end here by saying JUST TRY THE STUFF. . .YOU WILL BE SQUEAKY CLEAN SURPRISED 😲 🎉🥳🎊xo

Disclaimer: this isn't my account because my college doesn't give out emails so I couldn't get student prime and free shipping :( I personally own many Korean products (because they're so big on natural ingredients and effectiveness). I have combination skin that is oily in my T-zone but dry around my mouth, under my nose, and around my eyebrows. My skin tends to be oilier in summer and dryer in winter. However, if I treat it solely like oily skin, it'll dry out fast. That's why I'm a fan of green tea toners and cleansers that fight oily skin, but I also keep a strict moisturising routine with emulsions and ampoules so my skin doesn't dry out. That being said, I needed a new cleanser because I recently purchased a makeup removing cream (ps: if you have light or severe oily skin, I suggest cream removers instead of oil ones). Cleansing creams and oils need to be washed off with a water based foam cleanser and this one had me at "green tea". This cleanser honestly made my skin soft and matte! It was so smooth without feeling tight or dry either and this is only the second step of my routine. It also had a nice light green tea ice cream smell and I don't even like green tea ice cream. My skin isn't too sensitive but it still will burn and get red sometimes from new products. Neogen is natural and I had no reaction. The more natural, the better it is for sensitive skin and what could be more natural than actual green tea leaves in your cleanser? Everyone's skin will react differently because no epidermal composition is the same but I hope it works in your favour and I hope this review helped!

We know it's so hard finding a decent cleanser, it could take YEARS finding something compatible for our chemistry... this foaming cleanser exceeded my expectations and blessed my face. I was both surprised and pleased with how soft and clean it would leave my face. I don't know how I can possibly top this experience with this foam cleanser, it feels luxurious. Read a review of someone saying it burned their face - I don't see how this could possibly burn your face unless you had broken skin to begin with, or possibly washed with this after a chemical peel, (which you shouldn't you should use a gentle cleanser your esthetician provides you). I was sorry to read that review because I came on here to rave about my experience. I've had acne for far too long, over a decade of cystic acne. I've seen many dermatologists who failed me. I have consistently seen an esthetician and although she's helped rid some scars, I needed a cleanser that was going to be gentle calming and cleansing. And I finally found it! This is my holy grail and I plan on stalking up for myself as well as gifting it to my loved ones. I think me and NEOGENLAB are extremely compatible and I am heartfully grateful! Bought this as I wanted to adopt a routine with naturally found ingredients - albeit this product isn't made entirely of natural components, the Green Tea element is particularly effective. Firstly, I would like to say that I have combination skin (oily forehead, nose). From the first wash, I was pleasantly surprised how it drew out deep impurities and made my skin feel so clean. Not only that, after several uses, marks on my skin began fading, pimples diminished and outbreaks much less often. Other reviews say that 2 pumps is excessive but I disagree. The foam is creamy and, once applied to slightly damp skin, lathers up brilliantly. I tend to rub in circular motions until the foam loses its air and becomes more like a paste - I feel that the ingredients become less diluted when the watery texture has gone and I really feel it working. My skin does feel tight after use but that tells me that it has truly cleaned my skin, so I follow with a toner and non-oily moisturiser. Definitely worth a buy for anyone who is struggling to keep their temperamental skin under control - I have tried many many cleaners in the past but this one really gets up there with the most effective ones.

Es un producto excelente. No irrita, y limpia muy bien. La piel se siente fresca y libre de impurezas. Altamente recomendado si tienes piel mixta a grasa ya que controla la grasitud en la piel.
