Seems sturdy enough
Seems like a good quality hand operated winch that would last a long time. Has reversible operation with a simple flip of the catch mechanism. Came with a cable that’s heavy enough and long enough for my use.

Parts Missing
There were no bolts to bolt it to the trailer, had to use the old ones.

very heavy duty
installed today and had to remove all the existing cable to get bolts to mount properly, no big deal though. replaced the cable with one much longer and this was a breeze as well. no special tools required. very nice product and very heavy duty, well built. really like the forward and reverse ratcheting modes.

Broke the first time I used it ☹️
I received it on October 12 first used it November 12 now I'm Nov 13 and returning it expired yesterday.It broke the first time I used it. I had bought 2 of these one worked fine the other one jammed when I checked it out it was caused by a broken spring which made the cogs shift and totally jammed up. Very disappointed ☹️ there's no way to contact the manufacturer. So I'm stuck buying another, this time I'll order the more expensive one shipped directly from Amazon and not wait for another 600lb one that shipped from China
