works well and at a good price. the bit that came with it broke but I had no intentions of keeping it.

Having just spent a small fortune to sand and refinish solid oak floors in an old farmhouse, I wanted to protect that investment amd avoid scratches. These seemed to fit the bill. They came with an appropriately sized drillbit, and were easy to install. A month of use, and the chairs slide easily with no scratches on the floor. Definitely a good purchase.

We prefer felt pads on our dining chairs for easy sliding on our hardwood floors. We used the stick on with peal off paper for years but they would not stay put and we would end up with scratch marks and sticky glue on the floor and bottom of the chair legs. The felt still is wearing off these new ones so they will need replacing from time to time but just not having to deal with the glue is great, plus they stay put.

Pay attention to the instructions which state to drill a pilot hole into the bottom of the leg where you are installing. If you try to hammer it directly in - you will bend the nail and ruin that particular one. (avoid my mistakes). Also, pay attention to the diameter of this item. I thought it was larger, and ordered without measuring. Still works OK, but I should have bought a slightly larger one.

These are so easy to put on. A little smaller than I thought but they get the job done.

The pack comes with a drill head which made installation super easy. I installed these on about 6 chairs with no issues. I’ve had them for about a month with no issues.

We bought these as our chairs came with hard plastic that we didn't want scraping the floor. We initially just bought stick on pads, but they slowly fell off over time and were awful with picking up animal hair & it getting stuck to them. We bought these, removed both the stick-on and plastic ones, and installed just these on the bottom of the chairs. To install I just pushed them in by hand, no hammer, no tools. They fit easily into the hole from the old plastic ones, and after a couple days settled in perfectly flat. These leave no marks on the floor, make no sound when moving the chairs, and none of them have fallen off or broke. Highly recommend.

These are well made with a fairly thick felt pad. The nail is long and it is advisable to drill a pilot hole depending on the hardness of the wood.
