this replacement foot is for my Nikon 500 mm pf lens.The original foot has some issues and can release itself from the lens allowing the camera etc to fall.the Wimberley replacement is screwed on and can't fall apart .It also comes as a swiss area foot unlike the original.the foot is well made and easy to fit my only complaint is the rather high price but better i don't break my camera and/or lens .in all a good buy.
