Love these! You can tell the ingredients are really great quality, I have a picky dachshund that will go on food strikes and he has eaten every one of these, he loves the taste and variety and even begs for more, I like how they are human grade and healthy to a degree- I think for older dogs they’d be perfect cuz they’re high in calorie but for every meal it’s best mixed with the other food. The amount you get is great for the price. They’re good 5 days in the fridge after opened so I break one pouch into 5 days and it works great. About 1/4 cup each day.

This dog food was beloved by my senior papillon when I could not tempt him with anything else. It kept him eating for several years after he became super picky in old age. He passed at 17. We have recently rescued a precious, much larger young dog who was hungry, but would not touch the Science Diet she was getting at the shelter. In fact, she barked at it and buried it under her food mat! So I turned once again to this Portland and mixed it with the Science Diet and she has eaten it with gusto ever since. I recommend this food to everyone who has a pooch necause our puppers should enjoy their food like we humans do! It is well packaged, smells great, and only through Amazon have I found these packages with all the flavors. Our girl loves them all. You can heat them briefly in thw package in the microwave and the thicker ones mix better. My girl is about 48 lbs and I mix one third of the package with her dry food. For my little papillon, a single package would last as a mixer for days. It is not cheap and it's very rich, so I like it best as mixer with whatever dry food or other type of food you use. Great stuff!

Love this stuff! My 3 huskies have had this for over a year. They love the various flavors and it keeps them interested in their kibbles. Great quality product and never had an issue. Always fresh and always consistent!

We’ve had 2 monthly subscriptions since last year; the variety pack and the salmon. We have 3 hairless Chinese Crested kids; the oldest has frequent skin issues and allergies. We saw an improvement in his skin within the first handful of months, his skin soft and smooth. Our dogs loved them, and the ingredients were identifiable (a rarity in dog food). Combined with an high quality kibble, we felt good about what we were feeding our dogs. Over the last few months, the quality or formula has changed. The pork was always kind of iffy (heated 20 seconds in microwave and it kind of “melted”?). To our surprise, the chicken and turkey packets now have a strong unappealing odor and watery texture, which is gross. I probably wouldn’t have felt that way had I not seen the earlier product. Dinner has now become a chore. None of the dogs wants to eat, which is stressful. Just cancelled both subscriptions. Super bummed because I felt good about this company. Knocked off one star because we loved it for several months and the salmon still looks human grade. Based on the quality of the last few variety pack shipments, I would give 3 stars.

My dogs are picky but they love this! They have sensitive tummies but no problem with Portland Pet food. It looks like people food with texture and not a lot of runny graveyard. perfect for our dogs. 🐶

The food looks and smells as described, but maybe should be prepared for humans, not dogs. My dog does not like it and will not even touch it, unless a little of my human food that she does like is added to it. Then she picks around this food only to eat what I add extra. **** I do NOT recommend !! *****. Amazon had replied to me that since this is a direct seller for me to contact the seller, not Amazon for any type of exception, i.e. a refund or discount. So I contacted this company, and AI responded to me, not even a real person and denied any type of satisfaction. Do NOT buy... way too expensive to "try it out". And once the packet is opened, some used, and the rest refrigerated, it is very messy trying to use the rest. The pouches are a bad idea ! *** Do NOT buy *****

Great food HOWEVER the pouches are not good for me. The product is a bit pricey, which is OK, but getting the dog food out of those pouches is a pain. I aim to get about 4 servings per bag (I refrigerate it) and add to dry food, but having to squeeze it out of the bag is messy. I wish they put it in a jar.

The food seems very good in terms of ingredients but my 4m old puppy got ill when she tried the chicken meal. She vomited and started a diaria with blood on the stool. I will wait a while until i consider again
