We avoided the hassle and expense of returning a kennel that came with faulty hardware (bolts not long enough) by purchasing this sturdy hardware. Highly recommend.

These came with 8 pairs of metal nuts and bolts (and other misc screws) and worked just as expected. We moved out of state and our 3 kennels (size S, M, and XL) came with plastic nuts and bolts, which is not compliant with air travel requirements (by United). The S and M crates used up 8 pairs each but the XL required, I believe, 12 pairs in total. It was very easy to affix them on our Petmate Skykennels . No problems at checks-in!

This works great and make the kennel even more sturdy than with the original hardware.

Exactly what you would need on top of your Petmate Sky Kennel. Some Airlines would tell you that you would need the metal hardware vice the plastic ones it comes with... so be warned. Easy to install and very sturdy. It adds an additional solid feel to your kennel and I guess its cool to have it on different colors to personalize your own I guess.

Perhaps there are some brands/types of crates that these would work well on, but if you have a remington or similar crate, don't waste your money. The bolt head is tiny and likely to tear through the plastic of the crate. Frankly I feel that the plastic fasteners my crates came with are more secure than this inadequate hardware. I'm off to the hardware store where I should have gone in the first place, to buy secure bolts and fender washers. This was a disappointing purchase.Others have pointed out that this hardware is specifically made for PetMate Sky Kennel crates, and a quick look at this brand makes it obvious why. PM Sky kennels have small round holes that this hardware will fit into. If you have any other brand, you're better off going to a hardware store as I did.

1/2 inch or less too short for my standard kennel was also only 11 long ones and nuts. The nuts are easy to turn but not enough of them and can’t return 30 day return window after purchasing different ones from ace hardware these will just go unused unfortunately dont fit any kennels we have

These worked very well to get our dog shipped from the east coast all the way to Hawaii. The crate that we bought had plastic boots, but the airlines require metal bolts. These also provide a ton of extra support should the crate get jostled around. These are ferry high quality and one pack was enough for the entire crate. The company was very helpful and kind answering my questions on the matter.

My husky rarely uses her kennel and to save space I store it disassembled. I put the hardware in a bag taped to the kennel and, of course, when I went to use it again the bag was gone (kennel gremlins, I assume). So I needed new hardware.I was pleased with my purchase-the hardware is all metal (rather than the usual plastic caps) and the package comes with a variety of screw sizes. This is especially handy if you happen to have a few kennels with missing bolts of different sizes that you do not need to use all at once.I stored these away someplace I cannot lose them (or so I tell my self). But, if I do, I'd certainly buy more of these.
