Awesome Machine It is amazing how quiet and quick it is.

This was one of the more expensive shredders we looked at. But it can shred. You can put a big pile of paper in the top, close lid and it will shred automatically without you having to stand there feeding it. You can also feed a few sheets in at a time on top manually. Pretty hard core. Haven't been able to jam it once. Nice basket, easy to get in and out of. Cant speak to durability, way too soon for that. But I would definitely buy it again.

I purchased this in February, 2017. It is now November, and I’ve had a chance to use this for a while. All I can say nice is, “horrible shredder”. This is one of my worst purchases on Amazon, and frankly, I’m embarrassed that I paid this much for this piece of trash. I run a small business out of my home, and I needed a shredder that could shred multiple pages per load. I follow all directions, especially the oiling after dumping requirement, because I want this thing to last and do it’s job efficiently. Well, this is a fail. This doesn’t seem powerful enough to “drop” the shredded paper into the bin effectively, meaning that I am CONSTANTLY opening the bin and “wiping” the tight balls of shredded paper off of the cutters. Also, if you’re shredding perfectly straight paper, you have around a 30% chance of successfully shredding a load, but no guarantee. I even wasted new paper right out of the pack - only around 20 sheets - put that in the stacked bin, aligned with the front, and it STILL bunched up and needed me to not only wipe off the balled up paper on the cutters, but I actually had to reverse and forward and pull paper out! This was paper right out of the pack!!! I had two shredders going, an older model of a different brand that only shreds around 5 sheets at a time, and this one. This one required me to keep stopping to clear, while the other was chewing up paper without missing a beat. The only reason I’m even looking at this today is because I was reviewing my original purchase to see if I got the warranty. This thing is super heavy, so returning it and trying to get the manufacturers warranty is going to be a major hassle, but weighed against the hassle of using this thing, it’s worth it to pursue my money back.

What a time saver!! The ability to drop a stack of paper in a push a button is fantastic. Curled edges sometimes don't get pulled in so I'll flip the paper around to continue and/or when it is just a few sheets use the old school feed slot on top. You'll fill the bin faster than expected just because it is so easy to shred 100 pages in a shot. Bag it and compost it! The auto resume feature when it overheats is another time saver. Great for productivity if you dredge standing over a shredder. Shred it and forget it!

I wanted a medium capacity shredder for home/home office use that didn't require me to stand around and manually feed it for 2 hours when I batch process my shredding. This is a solid unit that allows you to stack a bunch of paper in the top and then shred it automatically. The feeder mechanism works well - I have not had any issues with it. The only con is that due to the feeder mechanism, it is a little difficult to oil the centermost of the blades, but it just requires being careful. The bin holds quite a bit, and mine came with a few sample bin liners, which are great for keeping shredded paper mess to a minimum.

I selected that shredder because I wanted the auto feed feature And I purchase the "upscale" version that holds 200 pages in the auto feeder. Works as advertised. Quiet. Auto feeder takes staples sheets. Not sure why other reviewers are saying the auto feeder does not work with credit card bills and other pages smaller than 8 1/3 by 11. It does. As long as go put in pile that is all the same size. Works for me because that is joe i file my papers anyway. I would recommend this shredder if you are in the market in this price range and want the auto feed function.

I’ve used this brand for 10 years. When my Fellowes shredder finally quit, I ordered this one. What a difference in construction! Flimsy plastic slide out tub fits poorly into the chassis and is hard to close completely. After 3 or 4 sheds, it stops with a ‘basket full’ warning. Shreds are piled up in a heap directly under the cutters and don’t settle into or fill the rest of the tub without constant opening and resettling the contents. Unit is way overpriced for construction quality , poor performance, and especially ease of use. I don’t recommend this unit.

Very pleased with this shredder. The automatic sheet feeder is a real time saver. Had a minor issue with the shredder that was shipped and this was addressed promptly by Fellowes. Outstanding product support.

The bin gets filled very quickly. You'd be surprised at how few sheets will fill the bin but really good machine nevertheless. Simple to use, not too noisy.
