We by our olive oil and vinegar in glass bottles and these spots have made it so much easy to use them. No more spills, splashing and runny bottles. They work great and fit in a variety of bottles.

First of all, this is a nice design, and this same Chinese made design is marketed under a variety of other brand names. As Chinese firms often do, one OEM manufacturer makes the product and then they are sold under a variety of different brand names. The top portion of these spouts (painted silver and black) are made out of a very light-weight, inexpensive-feeling plastic, while the part going into the bottles is made of silicone. Right now I'm using these spouts on a half-dozen bottles - all being different brands of EVOO olive oil - to which I placed these spouts on. These are all standard sized (16 oz) bottles you see in various outlets. Although the bottles look very similar in size and scope, these pour spouts fit securely on only 2 of them - with the spouts on the other 4 fitting fairly loose. Now when using them, the spouts didn't come loose or pull out (and they didn't leak), however, with just an accidental slight flip of the thumb (or finger depending on how you pour), the spouts could easily be dislodged, so be careful. My suggestion is that the manufacturers provide small adapters (made out of silicone) to fit various standard bottles, because although different standard sized bottles may look the same, somehow their top openings can be a tad different - by as little as a 1/16 - 1/32 of an inch. Now if you want to use these spouts on large bottles, well they obviously won't work, unless you purchase separate silicone adapters designed for larger bottles - many of which, can be found here on Amazon. You would then place these spouts into the adapters - case solved with regard to larger bottles. Then there's the issue of long-term usage and reliability. From the moment I attached these, the first thing that came to mind was the issue of "how long will they last?" As I said, the entire top is made of a lightweight, inexpensive-feeling plastic. How long before the lid stopper breaks off? They certainly do not feel solidly constructed. And I certainly would not recommend them for a restaurant environment where heavy usage would be required. But in the end, one must remember, that "we get what we pay for," and that policy in relation to these spouts are no different. Although I am using these spouts, I will be looking for some additional metal (aluminum) ones, and I know they will be a tad more expensive, but the end result may very well be worth the extra costs involved - not to mention increased longevity.

These pour spouts are shorter than most making my olive oil decanters fit better on my turnstile. The cap also snaps closed keeping out dust particles and excess air. I love that feature. They may not be the sturdiest, but I got plenty.

These are completely functional and I can't believe I've lived without pour spouts for so long considering how much I cook. The quality is not exactly high-end, but at the same time, it's a simple product and doesn't need to be and the quality is 100% sufficient for functionality. It's a very simple design, easy to use, and I like that. I think it's better that it's not some super fancy design.

The vent hole, by design, does not seal. The concern is fruit flies will be able to get in. The first one I tried to use didn't flow all - with just water in the bottle... I had to run a toothpick through the vent hole, nothing came out so I'm not sure what was creating the vapor lock, but liquid was only weeping slowly out of the vent hole. I haven't used it with oil yet but I'll be quite surprised if it works well enough to use full time. I use conventional inexpensive pour spouts regularly so its not like I don't know how to use these things properly. Edit 2 weeks in - vinegar experiences vapor lock pretty much every time I use it, not even going to bother trying with something thicker like oil. Probably going to return if I can.

It will do what I wanted it for.
