I am pretty happy with this knife sharpener. It is pretty simple and easy to use. I bought it to sharpen my pocket knives and when I got the sharpener, I was eager to try it out. I grabbed my dullest blade, gave it a few swipes and now it’s super sharp. All in all, I consider this a good buy for the money. I haven’t used it on any larger knives but I’m sure it will do just as good a job as long as you run your knife at the right angle when you sharpen it!!

I immediately used this to sharpen and reprofile my 20 year old SAK. Worked great!

Is this comparable to the $100 water stone I use to sharpen plane blades? Of course not, but it does a very nice job sharpening a high-quality pocket knife to a fine edge. It's easy to use and easy to store on a shelf or throw into a backpack.

this thing works great, I couldn't get a sharp edge on my pocket knife with a traditional stone, and kept looking for something that would be easy but still have great results,,I love it

It suck and it doesn't sharpen very well

This was much bigger than I expected. The picture shows its size compared to a full size keyboard. I haven't used it to sharpen a knife yet, because I bought it to put the rods in a bug-out bag, but they feel fairly high quality. The body feels sturdy, but too heavy for my needs. Total weight is 0.5 lbs. (+- 0.05 lbs) The rods have a bit of movement, but I don't think it would be enough to throw off the angle of the edge.

Works very well, has everything to keep a knife sharp
