Having discovered a large hoard of old family negatives all stored in the original cardboard envelopes from long gone photo developers, this filing system provided superb archival opportunity. Obviously time will tell, however it does seem to be a much better environment for the collection of significantly sentimentally valuable collection. An important investment for the future family.

I like these folders and covers. I've bought 12 in total. They may be viewed as expensive by some people but i like them and they keep my negatives and slides safe and away from light and dust ( when used with the separately sold' bags' for storing slides and negative strips.

I got it to store negatives with Kenro sheets. It works perfect. Theses binders are a bit expensive in general, but at least the quality seems more than acceptable.

good but came damaged :(

This is the second of these binders that I've purchased. The first was perfect with zero issues. This time around the inside of the binder and the inside of the outside cover were covered in small thin loose plastic translucent fibres. These pieces of plastic got everywhere, stuck to any archival sheets inside and made their way onto negatives when they were being removed for scanning (even after even after wiping everything down and following up with a vacuum cleaner). It took ages to get the last of the debris out of the folder and once clean it's a good archival folder. Have since switched to another brand of folder for storing negatives.

An excellent negative file. I use two of these one for 35mm and one for 120 film.

Designed to store negatives but arrived covered in dust / offcuts from the manufacture. Cleaning with a microfibre cloth made it worse by generating static and attracting more dust. Returned.
