Cheap plastic toy
Its a cheap plastic toy, the screws fall out when you are playing with it. I was going to give it less stars but I figured they were honest in the description and it was my mistake to buy this

I would buy it again
I bought this and it helped so much with my anxiety. It is one of the best toys I have bought and used as a fidget. It’s not super heavy. I love the design. It’s a super strong material. Easy to open and close. And it is not that expensive compared to other ones.

Great for Practice or Fidgeting
Pretty solid construction. The arm and lock screws do occasionally need to be tightened, but that's expected. Lock is spring-loaded and strong.

Great quality knife
It's a good quality butterfly knife with a great weight and smooth action, I like it a lot and it being real steel means you can sharpen it and make it a real knife

Training? Buy it.
Perfect for my son, training to get a real butterfly knife some day. Realistic weight, well built, right amount of dull while realizing you aren't holding a toy. Only improvement i could suggest is the latch at the bottom does not stay closed... could be improved.

Fun while it lasted
It was great.. until it wasn’t. It lasted less than 10 days. Was starting to get the hang of rolling and flicking it around, but it dropped and broke like Legos. I would see the actual quality is good - it’s durable material, however, the assembly seemed to have been the failing point. I dropped it quite a bit but that’s part of “training” / practicing, but it didn’t end up being very durable. Bit sad, will probably check out another to continue. It was fun while it lasted.

Awesome for kids who want the real thing
My 11-year-old boys wanted a butterfly knife and me being a father, I obviously wanted to buy them a real one, but luckily common sense kicked in and I knew that would not be a good idea. These are great because they are not sharp, but they are metal so they feel like the real thing. Just make sure they’re not doing this around any glass or vases because there is a very high probability of it flying out of their hand and shattering whatever is within a 5 foot radius. I’m sure you can guess how I know that.

Honest thoughts
I was told I had to stop twirling the knives at work as it made others uncomfortable and it wasn't safe. . . So got this as an adult fidget spinner. I don't have nor inspired to own a real butterfly or bala -whatever knife so can't say how accurate it is for training. But it is pretty fun and feels like "tricks" just more or less happen on there own, plus keeps my hands busy. I figured it would be a wobbly, loose, cheap feeling toy but even with over 6-8 hours a day of flopping, dropping, slamming, twirling, spinning, and flipping, it's as good as the day I got it. I almost want to try to break it at this point but then my bored hands would be lonely.
