Why does this have high fructose corn syrup but the smaller size does not?

Is this the same bbq sauce that swiss chalet used on there ribs?

I really don't know, This sauce is more tangy not so sweet as the grocery store sauces.

Anyone know if this has a similar taste to Bill Johnsons Big Apple BBQ sauce?

I suggest you purchase the smallest container (about 16 oz or so) of the Cattlemen's; and, compare it to Bill Johnson's. That way you will only have invested a couple dollars instead of the full price of the 1 gallon size of Cattlemern's. . AAnd, YOU will taste the "difference" if there is a there IS a difference. Though I believe there is a very good liklihood there is a gonna be a difference because you are dealing with TWO proprietary BBQ sauces!
