Imported Exotic Hardwood Variety Pack - Padauk, Red Zebrawood, Purpleheart, and Merbau (3/4" x 2" x 12" (8 Pieces))

I was a little skeptical about purchasing exotic lumber sight unseen but this came packaged carefully and it's as beautiful as it's pictured. Not to mention at a real good price. I would certainly recommend this seller.

Exactly what I needed for. Good quality, colors as described and clear instructions how to keep it

Very happy with the quality of the wood.

Exquisite on all counts! Excellent graining and color; each with a unique pattern. Hurrah !!

I’m very particular about the stock I use in my projects. I bought this, what I would call sample package, to test their products. My conclusion . . . Excellent quality! Perfect finishing and dimensions, and great information on the different species. I highly recommend Barrington Hardwoods.

All four pieces looked good. One or two were slightly bowed. The Zebrawood was hard on my table saw blade during ripping. Cuts were not clean. Looked shredded in some spots even with a newer blade. My new planer had trouble with its grain too. Lots of chipping - even with super light passes, running it through at slight angles, and different directions. Had to sand starting with 60 grit to knock down the divots. Stunning grain but too hard to work with. The Purple Heart was a joy to work with and will purchase more from this seller.

I use these to carve wands for family and for selling. This is high quality wood that looks beautiful.

Good quality. S4S and true dimensions. Have used this vendor before and they have been very reliable.
