This is a useful, quality, heat-resistant mat. I used the flat iron up to a temperature of 450 degrees, with no problem storing it in the mat immediately after use. The glove is helpful, as hair can get hot after you run the iron through it. I purchased an almost identical mat from one of the large supercenters. The cost was nearly identical, but the mat was thinner, and the glove was not included. I purchased this item again so I can have one available in my travel kit. I recommend this product.

Very good. It last a long time

Perfect for my space. This has protected my laminate countertop in my rental. It also gives me peace of mind that I’m not going to cause a fire if I forget to turn off my hair straightener.

The heat resistant mat is a life saver for my counter top. However, curling my hair with the glove takes some practice. Should help prevent burned fingertips. But the glove and mat are of good quality.

Love it, bought it for my cosmetology courses. Use it to practice using my Marcel curling iron. Very heat resistant, worth the price!

The gloves are cool I suppose but the mat is amazing for putting hot styling tools on. Once you place it where you want, it’s there to stay.
