Bioluz LED PAR20 LED Bulbs 3000K 90 CRI 5.5W = 75W Replacement Soft White Dimmable Spot Light Bulb E26 Base 40 Degree Beam Angle UL Listed & Title 20 4-Pack

After much searching I chose these bulbs as LED replacements for the halogens in my Kenmore range hood. They fit perfectly, sit flush (slightly under flush), turn on/off and can go to both high and low setting with the rocker switch on my older hood. Light output is terrific and light color (temp) is neutral and just right. Now I'm using 14w instead of 100w before. Just installed so I need to see about longevity. Wish they came in 2 packs instead of just 1 or 4. I'm happy with this purchase.

I replaced some Philips bulbs with these in my kitchen. To see the difference I only replaced half of them. The color rendering is much better. The older lights (circa 2019) have a slight greenish tinge compared to these which seem more neutral, perhaps a slight purplish tinge (which might just be in relation to the others). I really like how everything looks, but nobody else in my household seems to see any difference. Some people are just more sensitive to color. I'm very pleased with these lights. The Philips bulbs have been very reliable and consistent. I hope these last. My only criticism is that now I want to change all the other lights in my house! --UPDATE-- A year later all of the bulbs are still good. No problems after roughly 2000 hours of use.

I have track lighting in my home office that has used 50-watt halogen lamps. In addition to using more electricity than LED lighting the halogens give off a lot of heat which is bad in my office with no openable windows and poor a/c. These new lights use only 5.5 watts so will be much cooler yet give off more light than the originals (75 vs 50-watt equivalent). They are also dimmable, and I already have a compatible light switch. Payback in electricity costs will be a few years, but these should last for a decade at least and I will not have to get back up on a ladder to change bulbs.

Overall a high-quality product. It is dimmable, but not totally linear. In the photo you can see these bulbs in the foreground casting a very white light on the walls, where the light around the artwork is standard soft white incandescent/halogen. Since the color temp is not adjustable, I would say they err on the white/blue side, and not so much on the yellow side. If matching existing soft white lights not an issue for you, they are just fine. They appear to be high quality, and were priced right.

These lights are great with my Christmas light show. Colors are perfect on the house. Very bright and react immediately to my light controllers. Bought several other brands and these outperform the others by far. They have (so far) been put through 2 weeks worth of flashing, shimmering and constantly turning on and off and haven't had any issues. All the others I tried the light was too spread out so I was looking for some that were a little more narrowly focused and these are perfect. These are very short and smaller than expected, but that ended up being a good thing for my situation. I will buy more of these as backups.

Excellent bulbs but be careful where you use these! As is common with dimmable LEDs, the lowest-setting (dimmest) level is above that of a similar incandescent (brighter) - and if you get the bulb right at that lowest setting it will cycle on and off occasionally (unstable at lowest setting). These PAR20 spots have a 40' (tight) beam spread - so they really focus a bright beam in the direction of throw; and the color (3000k) is slightly whiter than a standard incandescent - so what you get is lots of bright white (not blue) light. Originally I tried these in a downward-projecting light fixture in our dining room, but found the beam spread too narrow and the color a little too white for that area - installed them in a few recessed ceiling fixtures (replaced 23W CFLs) and they are excellent! Purchased and installed the "Bioluz LED Br20 Smooth 7w (50w Equiv) 2700k 550 Lumen Dimmable Lamp" - a 150' beam spread and a less-white light in the dining room fixture and they are excellent in that location.

Very short stem makes it difficult to put in a track light. Light is also bluish and harsher than one would expect from a soft white bulb. The positive is that the bulb gives off strong light and is good as a spotlight. The bulbs were packed well and were in excellent condition. If you are using it for recessed cans in an area where you need utilitarian light; seems like a very good product. Would not buy again for my own personal needs.
