Is the feather a real feather or a bead or something?

When we could't find the feather, we emailed the manufacturer and got this response: "It looks like you may have received a later version where the feather shape changed." They sent an image of a tiny tear drop shaped foam piece with bands of different colors that looks nothing like a feather.

what does the baseball look like? I can't find it

It's white with red lines where the stitching would be on a baseball.

Does this come with a pad of "check list" items so you can check off what you find?

I bought mine 7 or 8 years ago so they may not exactly like the ones you have but mine came with that type list. In fact, I made copies of the list so others could check off their finds when they came to visit and would like to try their luck.
