I have the jack sparrow wig and its very bulky would the hat fit over it all

if any hat would, I'd say it would be this one. Its pretty generous in size.

Could this hat be died black?

I am sure it could to some degree but I am afraid it may not come out as good as you would like it. I would just look for a black hat instead. Less chance of disappointment
