This a a good quality, value for money strainer. Sturdy and thick gauge stainless steel and excellent finish. Highly recommended product. Check size in description before ordering. This size (base diameter 21 cm, top dia 24 cm & height 4.5 cm) is perfect for my need and I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

Product is strong and quality wise it is good. But online MRP is showing as 399 and after 34% discount i got it for Rs 265. On actual product price tag MRP is shown as 299 which is scribbled and made as 399. That means its not actually a good discount and looks like incorrect information. Refer pictures for better visibility

Strong, well finished ... I'll place this chalni to fit over a large pan or kadhai for steaming vegetables ... i steam most of my veggies - even greens - then lightly toss them in a tadka - or flavouring / sauce for international cuisine ... less loss of nutrients this way ... also steamed vegetables stay good in the fridge for a few days. The standard steamers are not wide enough to spread veggies in a single layer - when there are more layers the lower veggies cook faster than the ones on top and get mushy. This chalni will be perfect for steaming one layer of veggies ..!
