Old Fashioned Hard Candies and Filled Candies 16 Oz. Each (2 Canister Bundle)

I believe many of us, who order this every time around the Christmas season and at no other time, seem to have these great expectations of how wonderful it is and somehow believe it’ll take us back to those Christmas’ of years past. I probably did, as I previously left a less than stellar review. Well wake up!! It’s the same taste now as it was then. Yeah, lots of things have changed but I believe this is the same as always, but we aren’t. Did you get some broken pieces? Yeah? Well we all occasionally do and we did 5, 10, 20, 30 and more years ago. When you weren’t so picky back then, you’d eat those pieces, too! No way to promise you won’t get some broken pieces for Pete’s sake. Live with it and eat ‘em! Admit it, this candy Is GOOD! It’s fresh, it’s us that’s getting and gotten stale.

I ordered this every year but was terribly disappointed at the product condition. Candies stuck together and crumbled. Those with filling had the filling over everything. Also some of the candy has a really nasty chemical flavor. Really disappointed!

Fresh and delicious. Candies are not all stuck together. Brings back kid memories

The filled hard candies are all filled with dark chocolate. That flavor does not mix well with flavors like spearmint etc. Otherwise it is a 5/5 rating from me. Great old style taste to the candies!

The hard candy was amazing ! But the filled candy was not so tasty.
