Beautiful folder!
I just love it. Every folder has a different design and purpose. This is not a "Bush working" knife., it is a dagger with a narrow blade. It is meant for stabbing or peeling an orange, but not for much more than that. As I said, it's beautiful and great as a pocket folder. If I think I need more than my ChinCom knife, I'll go to my CRKC M16 large titanium tanto, or my Spyder large stainless folder.

Good Value Fun knife
This knife for the price is a nice replica that you can carry and use for your everyday needs. Mine came coated with factory grease and that helped preserver the blade well. Comes as advertised.

Description is Incorrect
Decent folder for the money. Reasonably sharp out of the box. The description isn’t correct, however. There is no pocket clip, the sheath is nylon, not leather. The little “thumb button” on the cross guard isn’t functional for opening the knife, just cosmetic, but the folding cross guard does function to prevent hand from slipping from handle onto blade.

Made in China COPY of Russian knife
Bought it out from curiosity. It isn't exact copy of NKVD knife. Some details are absent. KGB never carried this knife. It doesn't have pocket clip. Holster isn't leather. A bit small for my hands. Good quality.

White handled model
1st knife had a loose handle and sloppy lockup .Exchanged for replacement.2nd knife the handle was worse than the first. The lock was so tight it was hard to close .If they had quality control it could be a nice knife.

Tricky little bugger
Very novel knife. Beautiful craftsmanship. Very hard to master. Unlike any knife I've ever handled!

KGB approved
Forget the negative reviews and appreciate the potential historical aspects of this little knife. I love the locking mechanism, which takes me back to my early folders, and I love the little guard that comes out when you extend the blade. I’ve already gotten several questions about the knife by friends and strangers who have seen it and it’s quite beautiful in a Russian, utilitarian manner. I plan to add it to my international folders display. It’s not at all cheap and all the components are fitted tightly and precisely, working perfectly as it should. 5 Stars
