Kenney KN90030 Adler Outdoor Window Curtain Rod 28"-48"

These rods look great in my home where the more caveman style appears. They look similar anough to wrought iron fence posts and plumbing fixtures that they stand out and look amazing. I will say that if you extend them to their full potential, they definitely need the third middle support provided to keep them from bending. However, I put them on andled ceilings and walls and ceilings before and they work wonderfully.

I was looking to replace a curtain rod. Nothing was wrong with it except I dropped the tiny hand screw used to tighten one end of the rod to toe mounted base. (I have mild neuropathy in my fingers sometimes, I could not find it. It may have gone to the place single socks go when washing them) I went to the local hardware store to find a suitable replacement, but couldn't. So I decided to spend a few bucks, resolve the problem relieve the hassle. This rod fit the bill. Anyhow, it was easy to install. This is what I did, and it took me a few minutes to figure this out, but wow...I even surprised myself. I heartily suggest drilling pilot holes for the top screws of each base. Install only the top on each side, then put in your curtain bar and tighten them up. Check it with a level. Once even, install the bottom screws. Now the curtain rod bases are mounted. Unscrew and remove one rod but loosen and leave the other one mounted. (For this next step, I had my wonderful Wife to help me.) Slide the curtain as far as you can onto the the first rod. Be sure to hold it up from the weight of the curtain, then insert the other curtain and slide it in as far as you can. Insert the remaining rod into both curtains until you can fit it on. When both sides are on, tighten your rods, spread out your curtains. Now you have your curtains up! Success. Go take a break! I hope these tips helped, like I said it took a bit, and you'll be the hero!

Love how easy it was to install! The material of the rod is metal, And it holds very well against the wall when installed properly. I started by finding the middle spot, placed the support piece there, then measured out where I needed to drill. Then, I used a drill bit smaller than the provided grey anchors, and just tapped the anchors in lightly with a small hammer. The whole process took about 20 minutes (I installed 2 sets of these rods). It appears to hold very well and it looks very nice in my room as a closet door alternative. I might even get some more to get matching windows in the near future

Es muy fácil de instalar, sólo necesitas un taladro. El único detalle es que parece frágil una vez instalado, la misma caja te dice que no aguanta mucho peso, por lo que recomiendo tomar esto en cuenta para elegir las cortinas. Yo lo utilizo con dos cortinas que juntas pesan unos 800 g. Lo recomiendo.

I loved the hint of steampunk about these curtain rods. I found some black clip curtain rings and the effect is great. They were really easy to work with.
