The EasySnap fixture used to tighten the cords is robust although I confess to trying to pop the little "button" open at first when all that is required is for you to push it gently between your thumb and forefinger to enable the cord to be pulled through! The cover now fits like a second skin. The quality is excellent with just the right amount of padding but I have fitted this cover over the top of my older cheaper cover to provide extra padding. Not that this was necessary. It would probably be fine without doing this. The company that manufactured this product clearly is genuine about making a quality product, providing good customer service and protecting the environment. (Product is manufactured in Germany and vacuum packed for shipping). It is more expensive than some other covers but I think it is worth it and is the best cover I have had to date and I have been ironing for over 50 years!
