Great ODB reader! Worked as it should!.. Used it to reset my ABS warning light, could not erase the code because one of the sensors is defective but on the other hand it told me exactly which one was defective ( left rear ) … on my 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe sport.

A little slow on some older cars and sometimes doesnt autoread the vin but does all the functions its supposed to otherwise

Seller was very helpful and will go out of the way to help you confirm function for your car, when I had a problem with my unit, vendor offered a full refund. Does not work with 2021 Explorer, no EPB option to select when connected. Before purchasing, work with the seller to verify your car, their response is typically next day, very responsive.

I have a 2019 Hyundai Tuscon (TL) with rear Electric Parking Brakes (EPB). The Foxwell Elite 614 Scanner with Wi-Fi did the trick. I had previously bought another brand's Scanner that did NOT have the EPB retract screw/change brake pad function for my 2019 Tuscon. I bought the Scanner in March of 2025, and updated the software online. The kit comes with a USB power cord for powering on without having to be connected to the vehicle's ODB 2 port. It connected to my router via wifi (had to tell it my password) and took about ten minutes to update. This evening I connected it to my vehicle (vehicle on, engine not running). It searched for my vehicle's VIN and updated the firmware in about ten seconds. I went to Maintainence, then EPD, then to brake pad service, then Release. Satisfying to hear the EPB screw back itself into the caliper. Dash displayed "Braked Pad Service." I then used my brake pad service (screw in tool) to manually rotate the caliper screw safely into the caliper without breaking anything. It worked! Nice display screen and functions. The Elite 614 gets EPB brake pad change functionality and does things like reset oil service, battery service lights. The 624 model has more functions, but more than I need. Highly recommend the Elite 614 for DIY types like me, that just want to change the brakes with an easy to use, actually works Scanner. I recommend emailing Foxwell support with your VIN before you buy, just to be sure, but I believe this works with many vehicles. They responded quickly to me. 🙂

I like the scanner for it provides many more info about the car than just error codes, the design is sturdy, and the price is reasonable. Also, the support staff is very helpful.

I bought this new two years ago, but I only just registered it and retrieved it from the box to use. It doesn't work. Nothing works. I've been online trying to update softwear and update what needs updating, and nothing. I can get odds and ends things, boxes and rectangles and scattered letters, but nothing that allows a scan to take place. I only get odd things when the scanner is plugged into the computer. When it is plugged into a vehicle, absolutely nothing happens. I know I purchased this two years ago, but it was never out of the box until yesterday. Attached is an image of one of the images I get when I attach it to the computer. Otherwise, attached to the car and nothing happens.

I have a 2020 Equinox. You can’t manually disengage the parking break on newer Chevy vehicles so I had to buy this product. It’s not the highest quality. It has a rugged design but the plastic looks and feels low quality. The user interface is intuitive enough and accessible. I my was east to connect to my vehicle and it was able to diagnose my model and perform the necessary maintenance. It’s kind of bulky but it comes with a carrying case which is nice. Software updates are free which is nice. Compared to other scanners this one is a good price. I’d recommend this for anyone doing car maintenance on a budget.

No film to cover the screen, found out this is an internet model, whatever that means. Other than it has lesser abilities than the same model purchased from the Foxwell site. I did try to contact them through the site that you are sent to through Amazon. My form would not send. I did get some info out of the reader. It is pretty easy to use once you input your info if the vehicle is recognized, mine was not. The main item I was unhappy about was the I wanted to be able to download and print the recorded info. In the catagory list of capabilites, it listed printer. Well, without a sd card slot or an onboard data partition this is not posible. Would have kept it, I hate to return things, my plan would be able to take a printed copy of car problems to my mechanic. $150 was a bit much, but I was willing to invest that in order to prepare for services and required repairs.

This device is very good and very easy to use. Did all my full diagnostic scans on the car that I am selling. I will include a printout of the diagnostics to assure potential buyers my car is mechanically sound. Not sure how the ABS scan works but I will find out. Great product.

Comprei o modelo NT650 ELITE na intenção de diagnósticos para ABS e airbag no qual ele cumpriu com os requisitos descritos no anúncio, funciona normalmente em vários modelos de veículos, nacionais e importados. principalmente os mais novos, 2015 em diante... Estou satisfeito com o equipamento, além dos módulos de ABS e airbag suportados pelo o teste, ele faz um ótimo diagnóstico na parte de injeção eletrônica, apresentando muitas informações do veículo com parâmetros gráficos ! Todo o suporte foi feito remotamente com o Flávio, um excelente profissional... as atualizações são rápidas e é ele mesmo que faz por meio do teamviewer, resolveu todas as questão referentes ao teste, como: transporte, outros modelos de testes, atualizações necessárias e dúvidas referentes ao mesmo... O suporte é muito prestativo e só finaliza o atendimento quando está tudo resolvido.

That was a waste of my time and a lot of frustration trying to do a pad and rotor change in my 2021 Nissan. I bought the scanner for the EPB reset function to make my job easier. Function never worked due to older software after I contacted manufacturer’s support they updated the software for my car type still the scanner did not work “unable to communicate with car’s computer” I had enough so I returned it for a full refund.

Have ovr 4 month now & mostly use for reset EBCEPB and oil reset for Euro vehicle that come once a while for my shop. It take 3-5 minutes to get oil life light reset and some car take more the 90-120s just get in right software and some case over 3-4 minutes just get in to check or clear. In the beginning it works bit faster after I update some software then it just take way too long to connect to vehicle - still functional little machine but it just use too much time to get in the system. If you not in the rush it's fine but waiting time is bit too long in my case.
