High quality, dog favorite
My dog goes nuts over these and I feel great knowing that I'm basically feeding her beef jerky. These are nice size (picture a silver dollar that's almost an inch thick), and easy to break into pieces for training. Not too stinky either. Love them, just a bit pricey, but you do get what you paid for.

These are the best treats we've found for our dogs
These are the best treats we've found for our dogs. They aren't exactly cheap, but work great for our situation. These are a first-thing-in-the-morning treat in our house. Our big guy who will eat anything loves them, and our pancreatitis-prone, grain-allergic Yorkie tolerates them well. Just like humans, your dog is what he/she eats, so feed them well.

Nice and soft
Nice and soft, easy to break up into pieces, and my dogs go crazy for them! Because of how easily they break up, they aren't much of a choking hazard, which is great since my little Lhasa mix guzzles him treats with barely any chewing and my Maltese mix has gotten the chicken jerky stuck in her throat more than once.

the treats were super hard. My one dog will eat pretty much ...
I never have had an issue with these treats until my last order. When I opened the bag, the treats were super hard. My one dog will eat pretty much anything so it wasn't a total loss but it was disappointing still and I had to get something else for my other dog. Other than that I have no complaints and my dogs love them!

Good ingredient, dog loves them
When another brand discontinued their sausage jerky slice treats, I had to search elsewhere. The ingredient list is good on these, they smell better to my nose than the other product and my dog loves them at least as much. Economical price for what seems to be a good product.

Tasty jerky products that look like meat, not unidentifiable meat-byproduct
Pepper-dog tested, gobbled and approved!! Tasty jerky products that look like meat, not unidentifiable meat-byproduct. My Catahoula-lab mix loves ALL of this brands treats and hasn't had a problem digesting them. She loves them so much that she now spits out *other treats* and gives me the look "That's NOT the right cookie mom!! Try again! I'm waiting for the good ones!" :)

Quality has changed
I've been buying Prairie Dog treats for our dogs for several years. Recently the packages contain jerky that is thick and moist. Then I see the protein is now lower than previously purchased treats (same brand, kind and flavor), and the fat content is higher. This tells me they've changed the recipe. I won't be buying these treats again, unless they change the recipe back to a higher protein/less fat content. VERY disappointed.

Start out moist, dry out fast in the bag.
Dog likes these, but with such a large bag, they lose their moisture faster than I can have him eat them. We give him a few a day as a treat in his puzzle toy. They started out moist, but have started to get tougher as time goes on. I am talking within a week of opening them. We store them in the bag inside a treat container, so I do not know how we can keep them moist longer. The only way they might be best is with multiple dogs getting them every day. Or maybe we could seal them in another bag too... Luckily he does not seem to mind too much that they aren't as moist over time, he loves them. They are about the size of a Quarter, and about 1/4" thick.
