I have installed this on the front of my mountain bike. The mechanism used to screw in the mount is very high-quality and I liked that a screwdriver was not necessary. Although it has a mostly plastic chassis, it is very sturdy and holds my phone well; if I put it into a position it does not move throughout the ride (although this is to be expected, I have found it was not the case with my previous mounts). The phone-holding system works very well, and I can install my phone with only one hand. It is a much faster method than both of my previous phone mounts. The lock mechanism also works very well, however I have found it already has enough strength to hold my phone without having to enable it. Another quality Lamicall product which I would recommend.

It appears to be solidly built and gripping the phone at both ends along with the lock switch is reassuring in its ability to hold the phone in place. It's very easy installation and gives all round adjustability. I can't comment as to it's handling any vibrations during a ride as I have yet to use it on a bike ride. I also like the fact that one side of the holder gives you full access to the charging port something I will use on a long ride. If anything changes I will update this review.

Grandson loves this product well made and it works

I've tried out many mobile phone holders on bikes over the years. The all-silicone ones are quick to move between bikes and cushion the phone from bumps but it's a pain getting phone out to text, take photos etc The rigid plastic types tend to have the opposite characteristics. This Lamicall combines the best of both: it can accommadate large phones; they are securely held by the inner rubber ridges; the red catch underneath prevents the arms from opening; the clamp (with the correct choice of rubber grip-strip from the different thicknesses provided) holds device to handlebars of varying diameter. It is well made from what appear to be components of suitable material of good quality. I've tested it out on my Trek MTB over rough terrain and it works a treat, though the ball & socket joint needs to be tight to avoid movement. It sticks fairly high above handlebars and isn't pretty but that's a small price to pay for something that holds your phone safely where you want it ; )

I was a bit dubious when buying 'cheap' stuff on Amazon, but I'm a tight arsed Yorkshire man, so I bought it. 1st installation was on My Triumph Speed Triple, for Google Maps (other apps are available) took it steady as I assumed it'd collapse & my Samsung Galaxy S10Lite would fly off into the path of a following vehicle, but it didn't, it held fast. 2nd installation was on my (now STOLEN!) KLX450, an Enduro, so green laning etc... again, I took it steady, I was sure it was bound to fall off and get run over by a pursuing KTM, again, to my surprise, it held fast. So I decided to test it for real, I used my wife's S10Lite & hammered the ole Kawasaki over bumps, puddles, trees, bushes, crashes etc... then the real test, our local roads, potholes galore, it held up brilliantly! Easy to install, quick & easy to use. 10/10.

I had a RamMount prior to this but it went with the sale of my bike. I was searching for a suitable alternative and almost went for the QuadLock but couldn't stomach the chunky case or the price. The Lamicall Phone Holder has a quick release style compression connection which allows you to relatively easily swap it between bikes. This proved really handy while my Tiger 800 was in for a service. Simply switched out to the loan bike and allowed me to get across London with ease (or as easy as London ever is). I was a little worried that the clasp wouldn't fit around the fairly thick handlebars on the Triumph Tiger but as you can see in the photo it works very well. The phone holder works when you push the phone into the mount in an upward direction. This mechanically opens the phone mount up. Once seated you release the upward pressure and the mount automatically grips your phone. To ensure it's secure there is a red lock switch on the back of the unit that stops the mount from opening. This is a little stiff to start with but that does give you a little more confidence in the product. So it's certainly less hassle than the mounts with the rubber clasp to hold your phone in place. It's probably a little more effort than a quad lock but not significantly and most of all you don't need a proprietory phone case. All in all, I can't fault it.

I've had this for two years and I've maybe used it 20 or 30 times max. It's good when fitted although you do have to screw it tight when used on a MTB, which might be why it failed. Shame as the rest of it, especially the handlebar mount, is pretty sturdy.

Köpte denna för jag ville ha något som håller om telefonen och baksidan, inte bara sidorna from t.ex. X grip. Jag är tok nöjd med denna. Körde på motorväg när det var ganska mycket vind och glömde till och med slå på låset på hållaren. Den sitter jätte bra! Jag använde inte skruven för fästet utan det fick bli ett buntband för det var lite för trångt. Ska köpa en annan skruv senare för jag vill inte att den ska vara möjlig att plocka bort av "obehörig.."

Solido, maneggevole, pratico. Per il prezzo che lo paghi è veramente una sorpresa. Ne ho provati almeno 3 tipi a parità di prezzo e si sono puntualmente rotti o danneggiati dopo poco tempo o comunque si presagiva dalla qualità scarsa del materiale. Questo invece già dall'involucro ben curato ti fa capire che si tratta di un articolo di qualità. L'ho provato sulla mia e-bike che uso per andare a lavoro in città, piena di buche, dossi e strade danneggiate dove salti continuamente, confermando la solidità e affidabilità del prodotto che si appura già solo montandolo. L'aggancio rapido e i comodi spessori in dotazione lo rendono adattabile a qualsiasi manubrio, l'ho installato senza problemi anche su altra bici in mio possesso (gravel in foto). Posizionare il telefono è semplicissimo grazie allo scorrimento che si adatta subito alla grandezza del dispositivo (io ho un Oppo A91) e poi c'è la comoda sicura che blocca lo scorrimento e fa sì che il cellulare non si sganci ulteriormente. Ma comunque non si muoverebbe in nessun modo perché gli angoli interni sono rivestiti in una gomma dura e resistente che fa attrito perfettamente. Lo stra consiglio!!!!

El producto se ve muy robusto, fue facil de colocar y el movil queda muy bien sujeto. Probado montando en bici por campo y senderos con piedra grandes (no descenso a lo loco pero tampoco pista forestal llana); en ningun momento dio sensacion de debilidad. Como contrapartidas (minimas pero a tener en cuenta): tenia pensado poner un movil viejo para que en caso de caida o similar no se dañase el que uso de forma diaria, pero este tiene el boton de desbloqueo en la parte posterior del movil, a donde se no puede acceder una vez puesto en el soporte (nota mental para proximos moviles, los botones en su sitio el lateral). El segundo problema (derivado del primero), fue que al usar el movil que uso de forma diaria no pude colocarlo al tener una funda de libro y por lo tanto no entraba en el soporte (ni por grosor ni por anchura). Pero dada la buena sensacion del soporte use mi movil habitual sin la funda de libro y encajo perfectamente y quedo bien sujeto; en ningun momento me parecio que el movil peligrara.
