I’m extremely pleased with this casserole carrier! I used it for the first time during Christmas to carry a large baking dish, and it worked perfectly. It kept everything hot, and was simple to carry. The design is both functional and attractive. I own both the single and double versions, and they easily fit my biggest cookware, including a large Dutch oven with its lid. The insulation performs beautifully, keeping food warm for hours without any issues. The double carrier is especially versatile. I’ve used the top section for keeping bread warm or for an extra baking dish, and everything fits securely without any fuss. It’s also a fantastic option for chilled items—I took it on a weekend trip filled with prepped appetizers and ice packs, and it maintained the cold temperature without any leaks. We also used it for a long car trip, carrying casseroles in disposable trays. Despite their flimsy containers, the dishes stayed warm for hours, and everything stayed in place during transit thanks to the secure zippers. I love this product! I've used it twice so far for carrying desserts. It expands and can accommodate a little bit larger size. The insulation keeps food temp warm/cold. The extra pocket for carrying utensils is very convenient.

Used for the first time on Easter Day and it hot held everything perfectly! Even the fresh out of the oven dinner rolls were still hot enough to keep the foil wrap hot to the touch on the bottom of the package! My chicken held at 142. I did keep the bag on the floor of my front passengers side with the heat on high temp to keep the bag hot. Great product!

I ordered this at the last minute one morning for a potluck that I wanted to bring a casserole to that same evening. Amazon didn't disappoint with same day delivery from 2PM to 6PM - and luckily it came closer to the 2PM because I needed to leave with my casserole at 5pm! The first thing to note, there is a heavy chemical smell to the carrier when you first remove it from its vacuum wrapped packaging. I gave the inside a good wash and let it air out for a couple hours before I used it which helped get rid of the smell a little, but it was still there when I used it. I was worried that the smell would transfer to my food - but it did not. Buying it a few days earlier would of gave me the chance to air it out better. Over time, the smell has dissipated. The other thing to note that I have seen a number of people complain in their reviews, is that it melts. Common sense, a 400 degree casserole dish direct from the oven will melt the plastic insulation! It does have a high melting point, so it is not your traditional plastic - but a casserole dish direct from the oven is excessive! Cover your casserole dish with foil and let the dish sit for 20 or 30 minutes on a cooling rack before putting it in the carrier! The casserole is still very hot, but the dish has a chance to cool. I still put down a towel or heat pad under it even after letting it cool, but you may not have to do that - that's just me. I have used it twice and it has worked great! I get to my destination and even after sitting on a cooling rack for 20 minutes and in the carrier for two hours, the food is still piping hot - and it has not melted for me! It fits a 13 x 9 casserole dish perfectly. A larger 15 x 10 casserole dish will not fit in this carrier.

When shopping at Sam's with my sister, I didn't have enough boxes and so I just put my purchases in her trunk. When we got to my house, my sister pulled out her bags and started loading my stuff in them. A couple of months later, she asked about one of the bags -- it was actually a casserole dish carrier that belonged to a friend. I found the bag and yes, it could definitely be a carrier for a casserole dish. It was made of the "Green" fabric used for bags that grocery stores sell for $4.99 or so. I thought it was a pretty smart idea -- a casserole carrier. I use a cane, and so I thought it would be very practical since I frequently make casseroles or use my casserole dish to carry things for get togethers. The casserole bag had a website on it, but the website wasn't secure. I'm NOT going to buy something from an insecure source and so I decided to see if I could find something similar at Amazon. I was INUNDATED with options! I have three 9" x 11" casserole dishes. I have a very old (40-50yrs old) standard dish, an 40-yr old deep dish and a 5-year old dish with extended handles which came with a lid. This casserole carrier handles all of them, individually. The insulated interior is designed to hold a 9" x 11" dish securely in the center of the carrier. I Haven't spilled anything in it, but it has somewhat of a rubbery texture. I imagine it would be easy to clean any spills. It also has a zip pocket on top to carry serving utensils, if needed. Initially, I liked the casserole carrier that my sister had left at my house, but this one is a thousand times better and, surprisingly, not much heavier. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and expect that I'll get plenty of use out of it. Please Note: The carrier came in a heavy duty plastic bag. The plastic was sealed with what appears to be doubled sided tape, not heat-sealed. If you're careful with opening it, you can re-insert the carrier into the plastic bag to keep the outside fabric pristine clean. -- just a suggestion.

Originally bought this for a winter picnic and was very impressed with how long the food was kept warm. I bought the double layer style, use a wire cabinet shelf when I need to carry an additional glass pan in the top layer. It folds relatively flat for storage. The handles are securely sewn to the bag, I am confident I can count on them to carry the bag when full and not stress about them giving way and the whole thing dropping. No more worries about things spilling in the car or carrying it on my lap on the drive to an event. The double zipper pulls make quickly opening/closing a breeze and the inside wipes down easily after each use. Highly recommend this travel bag.

Good quality nice expansion size for deep dishes. Keeps for warm for travel, easy to clean.
