Excellent , works well and keeps my water at the right temperature . As a daily mate drinker for 50 years , I see instantly when something will work or not and this works. Would be even better if it held a liter Instead of 1/2 .

I really love this bottle for its intended use, it’s perfect for drinking yerba mate on the go and keeps everything at the right temperature. The build quality of the bottle itself is fantastic, which is why I’m rating this 4 stars. However, I’ve discovered a significant issue with the design of the straw spout. The plastic molding around the spout has small air pockets that connect to the main opening. Over time, these pockets trap fine particles of yerba mate powder. Because of the design, it is impossible to reach these air pockets with any cleaning tool to fully sanitize them. This inevitably leads to residue buildup and potential bacterial growth, which is a major health concern. I would love to keep using this product, and I’ve reached out to see if I could simply purchase a replacement spout, but unfortunately, they aren’t sold as a separate item. It’s frustrating to have to consider replacing the entire bottle when only one component is problematic. If the company ever decides to offer replacement spouts, or updates the design to be more accessible for cleaning, this would easily be a 5-star product.

I’ll start by saying I have a very busy job that requires me to walk and multitask all the time so I can’t just use regular gourds while at work. Auto mate is the solution for getting your daily dose of mate with a busy lifestyle. This is a very neat and sturdy system that allows you to have mate any time even while driving since it fits in standard cup holders. It keeps the water temperature all day, so you just have to put the right temperature you’d like from the start. I prepare mine in the morning and drink it after lunch throughout the day with no problem! The taste is amazing and I actually use less yerba than with a regular gourd because I don’t have to refill it. Easy to understand and clean. The external material looks nice and modern because of its matte texture. I totally recommend this to busy people! The newer model is totally different from the old one, so don’t worry about the bad reviews. Great value! This company has amazing customer service, I had an inconvenient and they solved immediately with the best attitude! They treat their customers with care. Totally recommend!

I've only been able to use it a few times. The rest of the time it doesn't work properly: the water doesn't flow, air leaks from somewhere, and I've followed the instructions not to fill it completely, leaving the space empty, and adding a little water to the yerba mate (cold, lukewarm, or 75 degrees Celsius), but nothing works. I didn't return it because I wanted to give it more time and a chance, but it's useless to me. As an Argentinian who drinks mate every day, and I bought this portable mate gourd to drink it on my way to work every day, it's very frustrating not being able to drink my mate.

Love this product but I’m not able to find the straw replacement. Where can I buy it???

I used the prior version of this product and was very happy with it. However, my dog also liked it and chewed it to pieces and I needed a replacement. This is the new version and it’s a little different, and when I tried it I couldn’t get suction. I tried contacting the manufacturer, but they never answered my request. I wondered if I was doing something wrong. But I decided to try again, returned my nonfunctional item and requested a replacement. This one works perfectly, and better than the old one, so I recommend it. The replacement process was very quick and easy.

Well, I'm giving 5 stars but I have one possible problem. I had for years a similar design brand Rolan that I use it but it had some problems. This one is better but worse than the Roland in one aspect, let me explain. This one stays hotter for longer time than the other and also I reduce the water from 76 C degrees to 71 C degrees to start. The Rolan had a very flimsy plastic filter that bends get loose and broke so I had to put Cheese cloth to continue using it, this one is very firm and looks it gonna last. The problem? most of the time water is not coming and I have to move the mouthpiece till I got the seal so it can work. That started to happen after 2 years with the Rolan till it didn't work anymore. I think its possible that this one dies way sooner. There's a o-ring that start to deteriorate and I can't find one to replace it so everything to the trash for a o-ring that maybe cost cents. If this die sooner I'm gonna change the review but who knows maybe last a lot and love it if it works.

Excelente calidad, mantiene el agua caliente por mucho tiempo. Es práctico de llevar, y limpiar.

C'est un objet très pratique et bien conçu. Il tient bien la chaleur. Il faut faire attention quand on vide le compartiment où l'on met le maté de ne pas jeter la buse filtrante. C'est un excellent moyen de boire du maté partout. Je ne peux plus m'en passer.

He visto que algunos se quejan de que el producto al ser puesto en posición horizontal gotea o escurre agua. Para los que piensan que eso es un defecto o falla, se equivocan. El termo trae a propósito un pequeño orificio justamente para que cuando uno sorba no se produzca vacío, lo que evitaría que el agua fluya. No es un termo hermético, es un mate autocebante. Para el que desee un termo hermético que se compre un Stanley. No lo volteen y les funcionará de maravilla.
