Great for round bases, read more for crossbar bases
Seemingly strong fabric, even when filled with sand. Did not feel like it would rip when I had to move it multiple times around the yard when finding the right place for my umbrella. Like other commenters, I added one sandbag (the whole bag, not loose) into each of the two weighed bags. There's handles on the bags to make moving and positioning them easier. There's also hook & loop on the side with the pole notch to attach each bag to each other. This brace weight will work great for most round bases. However, for a crossbar base, you should do the following, to get a sturdy and solid foundation. This assumes your crossbar base has the bottom lips where you would normally attach them to the ground with bolts. First, get yourself some concrete square step stones. At minimum, get two. But since you're there, get 4, one for each side. They're cheap. Put each of these on top of the lip of the base. Now you've made yourself a nice movable base. Next, put these bags on top of the crossbar. If you've filled the bags with 50lbs of sand, along with the stones you'll have about 300lbs altogether keeping this thing down. And moving won't be a problem since you'll just need to move 50lbs at a time. Pros - Bags seem sturdy and don't look like they will rip. Time will tell if the weathering will cause these to disintegrate - Handles on each side make carrying them and moving them a cinch. - Big enough not to cause any problems when filling with 50lb sandbags without taking the sand out Cons - Made mostly for round bases, but can be repurposed (see above) for cross bar bases - If you have a large cantilever umbrella, the 100lbs that this can fit (2 50lb bags) may not be enough. See above for tips on reinforcing with step stones. Overall, this fit my purpose. We were hosting a little kids party and I had to make sure the umbrella stayed put even if some sugared-up kid decided to mess with the umbrella. The combination of this weight and the stones made sure of that.

Durable and great overall quality
Very well made holder. My one criticism is the fill hole is small and getting sand into it takes a long time. Assuming you have the patience to fill with sand then this holder is great. Filling with water then the fill hold size is a non issue.

Great but sun fading 2 months
Owned these for two months now and everything works just as advertised. Noticing some sun fading at this point, I’ll see how it goes.

Stellar Quality and SUPER-easy to Use
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Our area frequently experiences very high winds that blow the covers right off our patio furniture (fishing the sodden covers out of the pool is a special kind of "fun"). I got these to weigh down the the patio dining table cover, and they are just perfect. We filled them with 25lbs of sand each (note they can hold much more), and placed one at either end. The form factor isn't right for our umbrella base, and I had initially thought a cloth weight would never stand up to our desert heat anyway, but these are MUCH thicker and sturdier than, say, Sunbrella fabric, so after seeing and using it for myself, I think they'll stand up to just about anything.

Quality Product
This is a solid, quality product. I'm using it for a cantilever umbrella, and it holds it down very well. I followed someone else's recommendation, and put 4 patio blocks in the umbrella base, and that not only adds some more weight and stability, but also allows this product to lay more securely over the umbrella base. I also followed someone's recommendation to fill with gravel/stones, vs. sand and I didn't think a 50 LB bag would fit, but it did. Makes for a much cleaner and sturdy set up. Lastly, I'm glad I got the one that separates - it's easier to lift and move if I want to relocate the umbrella. Overall, a very good product and looks to be well made and should last for at least a few years.

Weight bags.
The bags are great. I split a bag of sand between the two and stuck them around umbrella pole. Looks good!

Looks OK, but filled weight claim was incorrect
We just got the weighted base, so I don't know how long it will hold up. the the bags and stitched handles appear to be sturdy. The bags were also easy to fill because of the full length zipper openings. I also like the fact that there are two sections, rather than just one full weighted base, which would be very hard to move without having to remove the sand. The main reason I didn't give this a better rating is that the description of the product said it could hold 100 pounds of sand. We could only squeeze a total of 80 pounds of sand into the bags. Since our overset umbrella instructions said that 100 pounds of weights were needed to keep the umbrella from tipping in any windy situation, we now have to find a way to add some more weights or blocks to keep the umbrella stable.

Easy to use, placed a unopened bag of sand and zipped it up
Used it to add xtra weight to umbrella base. We will see this spring if it stands up to winter

Muy buena base
Nos ha sorprendido, pensé que sería mucho más inestable y no tan bien terminado. Pero es un producto aconsejable. Aguanta perfectamente en el exterior sin deterioro, calidad en el material

A voir...
Pratique ,mais attention si vous avez un parasol qui tourne avec une pédale. La pédale sera bloquée par les sacs. A voir si le parasol tient avec le vent...
