FRĒ SERIES iPhone 6/6s Waterproof Case (4.7" Version) - Retail Packaging - BANZAI (COWABUNGA/WAVE CRASH/LONGBOARD)

The case I received is definitely a counterfeit case. I know this for a fact because I am replacing this same exact case that has been damaged over the lifespan of two years. The case I received from Amazon feels different and looks different compared to the genuine life proof case.1. Headphone jack port does not screw in correctly.2. The lifeproof logo on the back is completely different to the original.3. The charging port seal/door is flimsy and is made of a completely different material than the genuine case.I’m appalled that amazon is allowing this case to be sold by them. It may be because the box is genuine, however the case is not.

2 days after this case arrived, the headphone cover randomly snapped off. I hadn’t used it more than 2 times.The charging port cover didn’t close all the way, and the button for silencing my phone was impossible to use through the case.So .... I sucked up the cost and bought the same case through the LifeProof website.Seeing the cases side by side makes it CLEAE the one I purchased on Amazon was absolutely fake. In addition to the differences pointed out in the photos, the real case came with a sticker on the outside detailing how to test that the case is waterproof. If I run my fingernail along the bumper of the real case it’s harder and doesn’t scratch. On the fake case the bumper is softer and any small scratch leaves a white mark.Using the actual lifeproof case for only 24 hours, I can see a clear difference in quality!DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FAKE CASE.

So there I was having a bonfire with my family and burning a lot of brush and tember we've been clearing. My little girl decided to use my flashlight and I decided to use my phone as a light. I had my hands full of sticks and my phone for the light and as I went to the the sticks into the fire (mind you I know it sounds silly now) I managed to drop my phone into the got red coals. My phone sat there for a solid 10 seconds before I could flick it out with a stick. Well the life proof case did its job and protected my phone. Emailed the company and they sent me a brand new case no questions asked! Hell yeah 5 star product.

I bought it for doing pictures and videos with my iPhone 6 while snorkeling on vacation. I performed the 30 minute test in the sink putting some dishes on top to keep at the bottom and it went fine. I could keep it casually in my shorts' pocket while walking waist deep in water and feel safe against theft concerns at the beach. Does as advertised, but I wish there was a small compartment for storing my ID and some cash though.Very happy, will use it for skiing as well.TIPS FOR SNORKELING:It handles seawater without issues. Just like without it, touching the screen when underwater does no reaction, my advice is to "prepare" the iPhone by launching the Camera app first above water, and then only go underwater, whereafter the volume buttons do the actual photo shots.Switching from/to video mode easily must be done above water and requires more preparation because tapping on screen while wet is fine but swiping for unlock is almost impossible, so this is what I did:1. remove my code for unlock2. Go to AssistiveTouch settings3. add a new gesture which swipes right and call it "Swipe"4. Add it in the AssistiveTouch menu5. Enable AssistiveTouchThen, to easily access my phone while in water, I go to the surface, wait for water to drool away (shake if necessary), and press the AssistiveTouch button, select my "Swipe" gesture, which shows a dark circle, tap that and it unlocks. Then I tap my Camera app and tap the "VIDEO" word to switch mode (no need to actually swipe). Then again go underwater because the volume buttons start/stop the videos.

I purchased this same item from the seller over a year ago, and was happy with the phone case so I decided to get a second case after the normal wear and tear I accumulated after having used it on my iPhone 6 for at least a year.Sadly, this recent order (from late February 2018) has left me very unsatisfied due to the decrease in quality compared to the case I ordered from them over a year ago; within 2 weeks the rubber edges were peeling, making the case seem older than it was. Note I followed proper instructions for ensuring the case was fitted properly to the phone, as I did with the first case I owned from them.Regardless, I kept the case on which was a mistake (I should have sent it back as soon as I noticed the peeling) and less than 2 months into using the case both of the headphone jack and charging port had lost their seals, thus making the phone "life/waterproof" no more. Also note the front screen cover is [overly[ sensitive to scratches--this was not the case with my previous order, so it surprised me to find so many scratches build up so quickly after normal use.I spoke with Amazon Customer Service reps about the really drastic change in product quality and we were unable to find readily available contact information for me to follow up directly in regards to warranty, so I resorted to this review instead.In theory, great phone case but it degrades faster than it should due to the really cheap quality of materials. If you need something to get the job done for a trip, this would be the case, but if you want something that lasts you might want to search for a better quality Lifeproof phone case.

This phone case was great for about 9 months...until the rubber edges started to peel away, which at first was just annoying, however, now they have peeled so much that the case is no longer waterproof. Note that the peeling rubber is caused by taking the phone in and out of pockets/bags. This phone case is not lifeproof.

I have used many cases over the years this is by far the best i have used i have taken it paddleboarding walking around the world and abused it with drops and water. It will keep your phone safe from water, drops and even a puppy getting hold of it and using it as a chew toy for a couple of hours (i had to replace the case after that one) Its much more slimline than otterbox and i feel offers more protection. I took a star off for two reasons and these are where it lets you down but with anything that is waterproof you will always have a compromise.First people sometimes struggle to hear you unless you are talking directly into the mouth piece. It is sealed so this makes sense why it would happen.The headphone jack needs an extender although it comes with one its still a pain having to remember to bring it. I have started to use bluetooth headphones now so this problem has gone for me.Overall looks great, great protection, easy to use.

I had one of these that lasted for years and was really pleased with it. . It was smart, slim (not bulky like other similar products) and protected my phone the many times I dropped it accidentally. The phone is in perfect as new condition so when I had to buy another after the integrity and appearance of the cover were damaged by a very small child digging their nails into the soft sides, and gouging bits of it out (!) I bought this replacement from Amazon in April 2018, but it has two problems. The first one is that one of the of the covers for the camera at the back broke completely - for no reason that I could see (see photo) so it was no longer waterproof/dust proof. Then the cover for the charger developed a crack and eventually broke (see photo). I notice from the reviews on this site that other people have had similar problems with the charger cover. Even on my first cover the little green rubber cover that is intended to keep this part waterproof kept falling out. It is really disappointing for now I have had to buy yet another replacement. If, like me, you buy for the style, comfort and protection this product's advertising offers, you may be lucky as I was with my first one; but you must be prepared for the one you buy to not last very long. I would give this product a five star for its looks and initial protection but none for its durability - so have given it two.

Delivery was fast and on time. The product itself is genuine and works perfectly. Before using the case for the first time you must test it in water for half an hour, and I never had any leakage or problems. Once his has been completed you can use straight away!I bought this to use in Australia while travelling and it worked perfectly. I was able to drop my phone multiple times and there was no damage to the case or phone and not bulky for the amount of protection it offers! I took the phone snorkelling and was able to capture great images and even sound with the case on.Touch sensitivity is not compromised and calling with the case on made no impact on the sound or quality.All in all a great phone case and would recommend.

My old (cheap) case failed and wanted to get something waterproof for my iPhone 6 and all the he reviews seemed to suggest this one. Was a little concerned by the price initially (usually pay no more than £10) but actually was very impressed. All works very well and is flexible enough to fit a Qi charging dongle inside so I can charge my phone without having to open the charging port. I’ve also washed my phone off under the tap and the case is fully waterproof. Very pleased.
