Not for heavy Phones but useful
I read the other reviews and thought I would give it a try. Overall I am happy with it. I have a Galxy Tab Pro12.2 and a Galaxy s7 Edge. It will hold the 12.2 inch tablet and can sit fairly high. I can sit on the couch and use the stand next to me. I have wood floors and the legs tend to slide and spread out if not set "just right". I can add the Galaxy S7 Edge by converting one of the 4 legs into a phone holder. It will hold the phone either vertically or horizontally. However, if I put the Samsung wireless battery pack on the phone, the arm is not stiff enough to hold the phone up and slowly sinks to the floor. Also, when used to hold both a phone and a tablet, the three legs feel rather unsteady and a slight bump will cause it to topple if at full height. It works great on a bed and is very easy to adjust to any height. It is pretty large and hard if you happen to fall asleep with it on the bed though. It looks like it will work very well as a tablet holder for the kids in the SUV during long drives.

Sturdy, metal, crazy versatile, and even fits iPad Pro!
This thing is amazing. I thought it was going to be flimsy and plastic for 50 bucks but it is sturdy and metal. Next I thought it would be too short to be of great use and it's almost too tall! This thing can hook on to your chair and make your tablet work like the helm of the Starship Enterprise! You can even swivel it out of your way when you get up! All I can say is - "Make it so!!" :)Important info I'd want to know:Yes, it fits my iPad Pro sideways, but that's how I usually use it anyway. I use all four legs at once to stabilize my tablet into my recliner but you only need to use three at a time. The cell phone holder fits my iPhone 6 Plus.

Exactly what i wanted it to be... good in bed!
I just love this stupid thing. I use in sitting on the couch, in bed, next to the tub, anywhere. Some guy said it was wobbly, but I would call that user error. If you bend the legs wrong I guess it would be wobbly, but it is fine for me. Using one arm to hold your phone did not work though. My Samsung was too heavy to stay up like the pic, but I would rather have that in my hand anyway. Octopus formation works but I like more a spider or claw type structure. (Think the hand guy from Addams family.) I am clearly not a regular reviewer type so now you know I must like it enough to write all this. Party on.

I would have liked the color I ordered
The stand does do as advertised, however, I would have liked the color I ordered. I received a white stand. I don't like the base the arms screw into, I think it should be a bit larger so I wouldn't pinch fingers when you move it and it would've been more stable. I also think the legs need to be a bit longer. It does work for reading or viewing in bed directly in front or over me but not when on my side. I can't attach the arm securely to the bed fram without slipping when I use my Dell Venue 11 pro tablet. With my LG 8 in it's easier on the smaller viewing arm. I think my husband will continue to use this but I will continue to search for another option.

Very good product, you will start using your tablet more often now
I really like this iPad holder. I can use it to place my iPad next to me while I'm cooking, brushing my teeth, or doing any other tasks that require me to be standing up. But the BEST by far is when you're in bed. Forget about holding your tablet with one hand and then having to switch hands because your arm gets tired. This has made my experience with my iPad sooo much better. I truly believe this is how tablets were meant to be used. I've started using my tablet a lot more often now that I have this tablet holder. I'm very very happy with the product and would recommend it to everybody.

A little pricey, but worth it.
I got this because I hurt my back and needed to soak I the tub. But it gets boring. Now I can watch Netflix from the tub and easily adjust the screen location with one hand. I keep a dry wash cloth nearby to dry my hand or wipe the screen. Most importantly, it's secure. I have zero worries that it will fall into the tub.3 years later and it’s still great. Too bad they don’t make it anymore. Look for something similar.

Not as advertised
This was great holding the ipad first couple months. Although it NEVER could hold the IPhone. Arm just dropped to the ground no matter what. Then it lost much of its stability to stand tall. Sure if you don't want it to hold the iPhone & like bending the legs so it doesn't stand tall, buy it. If you want it to do what is advertised, DO NOT BUY. Just being honest, disappointed customer.

Not very practical
Looks interesting, but it isn't the most practical computer stand. It has trouble supporting the weight of a surface 4.
