I’m not a very religious person, but recently I’ve decided to try to read the entire Bible. The Bible I own is a leather-bound NLT Life Application Study Bible and really nice, but it’s 2,528 full-sized pages of super tiny print on thin paper. It’s a challenge. I can usually get through about 3 pages before I start nodding off trying to remember who begat whom and all their names. My neighbor and her beautiful veterinarian daughter are super knowledgeable about theology, and they recommended this version. I was excited to order it but expected a small kids book that I would read in a couple of hours. I was wrong. This is a giant book, with 830 high-quality pages and really impressive illustrations on every page. Okay, it IS like a comic book because the man who wrote it worked for DC and Marvel Comics as an illustrator. But the information is on point and delivered in a much easier-to-read, fun way. If you’re like me and want to finally read the Bible, this is a great way to do it. I’ll still read my 2,500-page Bible, but these 830 pages will give me a better initial understanding and, hopefully, keep me more engaged when I do. Bottom line—this book is outstanding, and I’m so glad I bought it.

Great bible book that's easy to read and enjoy. The kids love to look at it and admire the art and stories in it.

This was purchased for a 13-year old who likes graphic novel style books. I was BLOWN AWAY by the hundreds upon hundreds of gorgeous highly detailed color pictures. The characters just pop off the pages! This is not a complete bible but contains a large percentage. The price is so reasonable, I'm not sure how they could even produce such a gorgeous book like this for so little. There is a lot of dialog between characters that "fills in" the story and draws you into what the people were likely feeling and experiencing. This scared me at first, as I feared it wasn't accurate, but I soon realized it is so well done, it's like watching a movie of the events of the Bible (kind of like watching The Chosen).

My 8 year would give this 6 stars if he could. Great for someone young and secular given how unsafe some of the modern comic content can be. This has had no ill effect on how much nonillustrated content our child reads as he loves to read in general. I do feel for certain kids the visual cues can help, and the book can make them more excited about reading in general. But like anything else mileage may vary and use it as a tool

It has sparked great conversations and made Bible time something they genuinely look forward to. I think it’s a great addition for any family wanting to help children grow in their faith.

Awesome introduction to the Bible for kids. Combines historical stories documented throughout the bible into visual arts making them more engaging for youth and the comic book enthusiast. My kids love reading the stories. Each portion is compressed to fit the comic book format. I would suggest, as I've done, letting the kids get engaged by the Action Bible into the story and then expanding upon them with the complete Bible story.

What an impressive undertaking. The illustrations are wild. Our 8 year old and 6 year old boys were immediately captivated. Highly recommend.

Wow this book is incredible. The cartoon illustrations are very thoughtful and complex. The creators are very talented and have produced illustrations which would suit an adult audience but also be extremely stimulating and exciting for teenagers and young adults. The book is quite thick and tells many of the important stories from the Bible. I would absolutely recommend this.

Tant au niveau artistique que pour son contenu, qui est un premier pas pour que l'enfant comprenne les grandes leçons de la vie et fasse la connaissance de ceux qui ont façonné notre foi au cours des siècles.
