Do i still need to purchase the cables for the 07 honda odyssey? can i just make the doors manual?

Cables are not included, however I did not need new cables when I replaced these rollers. The original cables attached just fine to this new bracket/roller assembly. I guess you could make the doors manual by turning the automatic door switch to off.

One reviewer suggest keeping the original door bracket and just replace the roller section of assembly for proper door alignment. is this possible?

The assembly you will get should be installed as sent. Your old bracket may have wear to it depending on how long it has been bad. Adjusting for proper fit is not that hard. Trace around old roller bracket on sliding door with sharpie before removal. Install there and you should be good. Find a good youtube repair video. Don't make too much work for yourself or ruin a new part.

Where can I find the bracket that actually attaches this to the door? seems its not included

Use the old bracket that was on the door
