Yes, some but not as much as a vinyl rain suit. I love it and would highly recommend it.

How durable are these? Will they hold up to tree farm work?

How is it for heat resistance from exhaust pipes?

This rain suit is the best and you are going to sweat in it! It is well made and I don't have the answer on whatever it is exhaust pipe? But you will be hot in this one if you ride bicycle. It is the best!

I am a 5 ft tall 105 pound female. Is the size small going to be to big?

I ordered a large as I'm 5'6" and 140. It gives me room to move and enables me to were a sweater or jacket under it. I believe you will be ok.
