Livin the Wood Life Roll On

Patchouli is definitely the predominate scent, but it does have a nice woodsy note with vanilla and cedar in the background. Lasts the day, with no skin irritation.

I don't know the last time I wrote a review, but this product and company deserves 5+ stars! The product is amazing and smells great. Packaging was spot on with some cool extras - do yourself a favor and support them!

To be honest, I almost returned this. The first time I wore it, the scent was overwhelmingly cedar forward. A few days later I grabbed the sweater that I wore while trying this fragrance on and noticed it smelled wonderful. I decided to give it another try, this time really working it into my skin to warm it up. It seems to soften and sweeten up a bit over time. In my personal opinion, I still think it would be perfect without the cedar but it's starting to grow on me. (As a side note, it smells similar to my favorite candle, Patchouli Oud by DW Home. Definitely recommend it if you like this fragrance. ) TLDR; Cedar forward but as it warms up on the skin and becomes a bit sweeter. The final scent is sweet but definitely lives up to its woodsy name.

I didn’t wear patchouli for the longest time. This scent made me LOVE IT! I’m not a fan of your typical atomizer perfume... synthetic smells is not for me! The more natural the better! I was going to buy the spray (which I will at a later date) but I decided to go for the roller ball to keep in my bag and it’s a little more sustainable on the skin. This I would say is more cedar dominate, hence the name of the product, with an under note of patchouli. Also I don’t smell the vanilla. I’m totally obsessed! High quality as well which is SUPER important. Even has directions how to reuse the packaging it comes in! Long story short, five stars and I’m now in love with the Frankie and Myrrh company!

I have a somewhat sophisticated nose, and while there is a light woody smell upfront, all I get after application is pure vetiver with some rosemary, can't detect vanilla or patchouli (maybe an off batch?). Vetiver type smells are not a pleasant smell on their own to me... usually better as a base note... perhaps putting this on with their Hippie Go Lucky smell would work well for those who want a vetiver/woodsy heavy patchouli. That said, some people may like a rosemary/vetiver type smell, hence giving the 3 stars.

I got the truly patchouli first time I ordered an loved it. An just got the livin the woods life an iam disappointed for sure. It smells like some sort of cleaner with patchouli added. An the little roll on is pretty expensive an I feel like I wasted my money on this one. I do not recommend the livin the woods life. I'm going to try other scents an hope they are better like the truly patchouli was.

I have purchased several other items from this seller's line and was excited to see the roll on products. These are a great alternative to spray cologne and this scent is out of this world. a small amount applied to your pulse points will be more than enough to enjoy, and I'm sure this will last a long time. The seller also includes fun packaging and usually a little surprise with the order - I'm always happy to support a small business with a great product AND a sense of humor, LOL. Highly recommended!
