The smell is okay they changed the formula recently when i got it in person and its js stronger but it helps clean my hair has a really good lather its a easy to use product good shampoo and i love this i have low porosity hair and this doesnt strip my hair in any shape or form!

I was pleased with this product...The scent wasn't overpowering, it didn't create dryness, and it left my hair feeling clean...Also, I like that I could just use a leave-in conditioner (I use either guava slip or aloe whipped butter gel) after washing instead of having to use an instant conditioner after washing...I would definitely consider purchasing again...

CAmille Rose is a fantastic black owned hair care brand that is generally a bit out of my budget. I have a good report with this brand and a positive opinion of many of Janelles products, including the bath and body products. This shampoo product was a bit out of the norm for me, just because of how it was packaged and the consistency. It's more gel/gelly like but still shampoo if that makes sense. It has a mild scent, not like ginger at all, which i was expecting. It provides AMAZING SLIP and will be great for tangle prone hair. It is non drying and a great shampoo if you have a consistent, regular routine. If you're needing a deep clean to get rid of a lot of buildup, debris, dandruff, or taking down a protective style, I'd suggest a more clarifying shampoo though. This would be great for kids in general, but adults can certaintly use it if they don't have a bunch of buildup. It's a gentle shampoo, non stripping. I've used it on several hair textures, on my family members and clients. Because of the awesome slip this shampoo offers, I especially like it for 3c-4c hair types. Coily hair can get tangles easily and this product really help with that when shampoos can sometimes compound the problem. I use my fingers to gently seperate curls and Coils while washing the hair Camille rose is a great brand, a bit pricey, so I bought this on sale. I wish I purchased more when it was on sale, and I would repurchase it again. Worth a try, and made from natural, hair loving ingredients.

Leaves my hair squeaky clean, soft & shiny, and beyond moisturized. Very thick so a little goes a long way, the bottle lasts well over five months.

Very moisturizing, it doesn’t leave the hair dry after washing. It cleans the scalp and ends very good and let me not talk about the smell of this shampoo. It is a 10/10 shampoo for natural hair

I bought this for my daughter's hair and scalp. She's wasn't very good at keeping her scalp clean between trips to the salon and would get terrible build up. With the tip, it's easy to apply. It lathers up very well, but does leave the hair feeling stripped of a moisture. Also, I recently tried to color my hairline and I had a horrible reaction to the color. The next day my scalp was soo itchy, tender and it started to ooze (sorry if that's a bit much.) But, I knew I had to wash the areas immediately to made sure their was no left over reside from the color and it get rid of the build up that was trying to form scabs on my scalp. (Sorry again. ) I was so afraid that using the shampoo was going to make my scalp burn, but it did not! It was rather soothing because it's consistency just felt smooth and cleansing. So, if you have a sensitive scalp and you don't see any ingredients listed that you have a problem with, I would definitely recommend trying this one.

This is probably the best shampoo I’ve ever used, especially for the price. It cleans my hair properly without stripping it or leaving it dry, and my scalp feels super fresh after using it. The slip is amazing too, which makes detangling way easier for type 4 hair. Honestly this might be the best product Camille Rose has ever made. A lot of their products don’t really work that well for tighter hair or type 4 hair in my experience, but this one is completely different. It actually delivers and leaves my hair soft, clean, and moisturised every time. Definitely staying in my wash day routine.

I am requesting a refund for the Camille Rose Naturals Sweet Ginger Cleansing Rinse that I purchased from Amazon. Upon receiving the product, I noticed that the bottle was improperly sealed, leading to spillage inside the package. Furthermore, after using it, I found that the formula did not perform as expected. It left my hair feeling unusually dry and brittle rather than cleansed and refreshed, which is disappointing given the product's intended benefits. Due to the packaging issues and the product’s poor performance, I would appreciate a full refund for this purchase.
