The picture shows the muck that this little gadget catches! It took about 4 or 5 plunges to bring it up clean. It's better than the little flimsy plastic thing you get with the fridge that always breaks & gets lost & is pretty useless anyway. It is stronger, longer & has a brush on the end to sweep up the muck. Brilliant! PS: I gave it 4 stars for durability because I have just got it & don't know how long it will last, but it looks & feels very sturdy.

We were thinking of buying a new fridge freezer as the water was collecting at the bottom of the fridge. We did not have much belief that that this brush would work but very good reviews convinced me and my husband to give a go before buying a new fridge freezer which would cost us £280. And guess what?! IT WORKED !!!! No more water is collecting anymore, we are astonished with my husband. The brush collected all the grime and was very easy to use. I highly recommend 👌

Did the trick, unblocked the drainage hole in my 8 year old Candy Fridge Freezer. For about a year, the bottom of the fridge had ended up with water pooled up on the bottom, requiring sponging out every few months and eventually, every week. I was considering buying a new Fridge Freezer, but after reading up on how excess water can get into the top fridge section, one of the recommendations was to get a tool to give the drainage hole and pipe a good clean. The amount of gunk that came out of the drainage hole was grim - despite the fridge always being clean, Britain being a damp and cool island generally equals mould build up where there's wet - and that includes fridge drainage channels. A week on and no sign of any water buildup in the channel by the drainage hole. A few quid and 15 minutes of research saved me spending hundreds on a new fridge/freezer.

This handy device unblocked my fridge drainhole. It is easy to clean and store.

My tall fridge/freezer had started pooling eater in the bottom and using the manufacturer supplied two or three inch device for clearing the drainage hole was only delaying the pooling for a few days. I poked this device through the top of the hole and it appeared out the other end a few feet away, so clearing the blockage. A few more up and downs to ensure the passage way was as cleared as possible, and no more water pooling issues. :)

I use this to unblock a small pipe, not sure if it was long enough, I didn’t successfully manage my intentions.

Works like a dream to fix the problem of water gathering at the bottom of your fridge. Locate the drain hole at the back of the inside of your fridge - it’s about the level of the top of the veg box on the back wall. That drain hole gets blocked and then the water overflows from that gutter onto the bottom of your fridge. A quick fix is just to poke it with a chopstick to keep it out a bit. For a permanent fix buy this item and then turn the fridge around so you look at the back, locate the drainage tube that runs from that drain hole and run this little ferret-like brush up the tube from the bottom to clean the gunk out.

Kept having water pooling at the back of my fridge so decided to try this as a quick fix. Although it’s not the sturdiest thing it did help clear whatever was blocking the pipes and since then the water has stopped building up so will do this on a regular basis. Good price and it worked for me.

V. Good for long bent thin tubes. I would prefer that th brush be a little bit longer.
