Only use L’Oréal products so after 40 years I still use L’Oréal. This hair dye is color it shows and leaves your hair soft and shinning. I often have people ask who does my color. I say me with L’Oréal. Tried others but inexpensive and always true to color I highly recommend this hair colorant and lasts for me about 5 weeks as I get older.

This is seriously high quality hair dye - I've been using this brand for 10 years. Now that they've FINALLY fixed the bottle to be openable again without getting chemicals all over you and they have a usable glove design again, I'm VERY happy to restore this to 5 stars. Honestly, this product is so good, I don't understand why anyone dyes their hair at a hair dresser for over a hundred dollars when you could spend $10, do it at home, and get a completely consistent color. This won't easily give you highlights or lowlights, but if you just want a straight up color and they have it, use this! Honestly, my hair color is 10 times better with this, because the hair dressers tend to put too much yellow into the blonde no matter how hard I emphasize that they can't do that with my super pale, cool-tone skin. I'm basically Elsa, minus the powers. ;)

Yes, it's my fault I got the wrong color. I usually use L'Oreal Blondissimes extra light ash blond, but I figured "close enough" since it was priced lower. WRONG! Not only did I buy the wrong color (extra light "natural" blond) but to make matters worse, I bought the L'Oreal Excellence Creme. Don't get me wrong, it'll do in pinch and I'm certain nobody notices this but me; however it's a bit darker than the extra light ash blond (think dirty blond). The kit contains: disposable gloves; a step-by-step guide (with pics) for either the whole head or just the roots; an attachment for combing on the color if desired; and also both pre- and post-conditioners.. The pre-conditioner offers protection against breaking, drying-out, & damage, whilst the post-conditioner is absolutely wonderful. Shiny, silky, glimmery goodness! I colored only my roots (I'm not gonna lie--it burned a bit), and there was PLENTY left over even after I pulled it through the last 5 or 10 minutes (the length of my hair is down to my butt). After application on your roots, it only takes 25 minutes to get desired effect. Hopefully, I will remember to choose the proper color and brand in the future. Good thing I'm using a pink color on top of it in a few days.

Love this brand. Highly recommend. I have a level 7 hair, and it lifts like it says it does. If you have darker hair, I do not recommend.
