Works good, with range more than expected
I got these after tinkering with a small surface-mountable NRF24L01+ modules for more than a week. There are many pitfalls to get NRF24L01+ to work, ranging from software, hardware, electrical. I had lots of factors tripping me up. I ordered these mostly because of the 3.3v module, trying to eliminate dirty or insufficient power from the equation. In the end, once I sorted all my issues these (and my original smd) modules all worked. However these have dramatically longer range and obstacle penetration, much more than expected and compared with the smd built-in antenna ones. With these I can go up and down the street and still receive packets. There are few hacks/tricks that can boost that even further - Faraday cage with some copper or alum foil (see photo), better antenna/placement etc. Got the working fine on ESP32, ESP8266, Seeeduino Xiao, Arduino UNO, nothing stomps them.

NRF24L01 good investment for a cheap costing ROV project.
2.4ghz radios work very well, reached over 200meters line of site. cost also worth it.

Great Product.
These modules work great and have a great range even on the min. setting. It is true that they use the Si2401 chip instead of the NRF24L01+ chips from Nordic but they are fully compatible and work great as a NRF24L01+ substitue. If they work at this long range with a setting of Min. for power, I wonder how far they will work with the power set to max. Truly incredible. Will definitely buy again.

Unreliable with Arduino Nano โ power requirements not disclosed
I initially rejected many many of these modules thinking they were faulty, but later discovered they work fine with an Arduino Uno. The issue? The onboard AMS1117-3.3 regulator draws more current than the Nanoโs USB-powered 5V rail can provide. Nowhere in the listing did it mention that the Nano canโt reliably power these modules. This oversight caused hours of wasted debugging. Sellers should clearly state power requirements and Arduino compatibility. Beginners beware!

Works fine, but not far from house
Got mine. Connected to nano v3 (5v) from amazon. Works fine (tested only first 2). Voltage dividers on 4.7kOm/2.2kOm, power directly to 5v (through using power modules from same package). Set signal max to TransmitPower5dBm, 2.402 GHz, works only 100 feet (30m) from home(

NRF24L01 is NOT easy to program. Horrid is a better word for it.
First off, the seller doesnt know anything about the nrf24. I asked the seller about the + sign which indicates that the nrf24 is the newer version of the original Nordic module. The newer version has an additional low-power setting. The answer he provided gave new meaning to the word absurd. So I dont know if what's being sold is the newer or original version. However, for most users, it wont make any difference. Secondly, before you invest in a rf24, check out the internet and look at the C++ codes YOU must write to get one module to talk to another thru an Arduino. This will tax your abilities of understanding. Now try to write code to send a message to more than one module. Whatever you produce will NOT work the first time. That's independent of your programming skills. Thirdly, if you want to get any decent range out of these devices (> 20 ft), you will have to solder a 83mm wire to the end of the built-in antenna. The length of 83mm is for good reason due to antenna physics. Good luck.

Good value.
All of the transceivers worked. The range between 2 of these is limited, but using one of these and one of the versions with the antennas worked well. The 3volt adapter is great. Makes connecting to other devices much easier.

Third....
1 out of the 3 module actually works. Not impressed.
