Q: I really don't know what kind of product it is.Does is just for style like a pomade do?Then what's the hold like, very strong hold or strong hold?

This product is a hair gel that's very similar to a pomade; in fact, I use it interchangeably with my pomade and I'm waiting to run out of the product before I switch over to my pomade exclusively, just my personal choice. It's a very good product with strong hold. I'm in the process of growing my hair out and may need something stronger eventually but I would definitely recommend this product.

Q: Does this have any kind of scent? If yes, is it strong or dissipate after awhile?

It has a nice scent; however, it is not too strong and does dissipate quickly.

Q: how is this the upgraded version? What is the difference?

From what my family can tell, there is no difference. Same stuff.

Q: I used bed head hard head in a silver tube is this like it or took it's place ??

I believe the product I was looking for was in a silver can. I called the bed head company. They directed me to this product, although I am a women. It works just fine. Good luck
