SkinGripz"11-BRAVO" 1911 Grips (Full Size-Black)

Expected more. Not bad if you like the grip but, quite honestly it's not rough enough for my liking. Recently I've gotten into custom stippling with a soldering iron on my gun bench. Once you handle a polymer pistol with a grip that's been stippled, you never want anything else. I bought these thinking they were real polymer. I don't know what they're made of but they don't respond to a hot soldering iron the way real polymer does. The result is a sub standard grip surface. I'm actually going to go back to my Hogue rubber grips until I can find a set that's made of the real stuff. I give them a 2 because they do fit a 1911 and they do have a textured grip but, I'm looking for a grip so rough it damn near sticks to your hands. Some reviewers said the grips were like sandpaper. Yea, if you have bankers hands and you're counting money all day. I'd rather buy plain grips and put friction skate board tape on them. That would be an improvement over these wussy grips.

all of the edges are square and sharp. Not a big deal but I use my 1911 for a concealed carry and the edges printed and stud out more then I liked. If this had been properly described in the description or more detailed pictures provided I would not have purchased the grips

These grips have a very positive grip and fits fine on a full size 1911. Be careful not to over tighten the screws or these grips will warp.

My PT-1911Ar came stock with atrocious diamond cut plastic grips that were uncomfortable in the best of conditions. These improved the fit and finish immediately with only a little Dremel work to accommodate the ambidextrous thumb safety.

Bought them for my Kimber TLE II. Direct fit with no modifications. Grips are like sandpaper.Company was pleasant to work with.

Good grips for the price shipper was fast.
