I really enjoyed this at-home keratins product. It's nice and simple to use. My hair is thick, curly and very frizzy so the product helped. No toxic smell while drying or flat-ironing. However, everytime I wash my hair, it smells SO BAD (even my hair towel has that smell now). Instructions say never to air-dry, so I guess that's why. Other that that, I really liked it!

I try this because I don’t want to go to a salon and spend 300$ (like the last time I went)my hair looks good after this treatment but it have a weird smell when hair is wet. Will update on how long it last.

Ok, I’ve been getting a keratin treatment done for almost $300 every summer. This summer I wanted to try and do it myself. First stuff I bought I thought I was going to DIE. My eyes, lungs, throat all on fire. I just about gave up but thought let me try a different brand. Finally stopped being a dummy and bought this since it is formaldehyde free.First of all, a bit of a chemical smell but NO burning eyes or throat. I love the fact that you leave it in then mostly wash out before drying and straightening. From what I can tell so far this works just as well as any of the other products you have to leave in when you dry.I will give warning to anyone with colored hair. Now I dyed my hair a dark red anticipating getting a keratin treatment. Now I’ve had this done so many times I know the outcome which is a light auburn red, perfect for summer and just what I wanted. It did exactly that. It lightened my red about two shades. I love it, but for those who DONT want it to effect their color you might want to try something else or be prepared to dye your hair after treatment.It was time consuming, I have short hair and from start to finish it took me a little over three hours. Now I really took my time and did the straightening process piece by piece but I wanted to be sure I was thorough.The result is silky straight beautiful hair and I am in love. I will give an update as time goes on if it lasts as I continue washing it, but so far I am in love! It gave me the exact result I wanted and saved me over $200. YES!

I use to use Zelo, but the price changed. The first I used this my hair felt smooth and look fuller. I have 4a,b hair. My hair stayed straight through humidity. There was no bad smell.

At the start of the pandemic and the 2020 quarantine I decided to try to do the keratin treatment at home since all the salons were closed. All the other treatments I had tried at home didn’t work well and left my hair either looking the same or dryer than before. But this is the only keratin treatment that I’ve used so far that works really good on my hair! Not only does it smoothen my hair, it also leaves it shiny and silky! I think it may be the unique gel-like formula they use in this as my hair does better with it than it does with regular cream. I love this product! I get the same results as I do when I go to a salon, but for much less money. My only complaint is that I’d wish they’d make bigger bottles. 5/5 stars for me!

I was so happy to find a formaldehyde free and affordable option to tame my frizz. It worked great but after three days I washed my hair and as previously stated by another reviewer the smell was horrible when the water came in contact. The smell was so strong it woke me up. I had to wash my bedding in the morning. I have washed my hair for the third time in a week and the smell is still there. 😞 If you have had covid and have lost your sense of smell you could use this product but don't get near anyone else.

The best product out there. Using the products with formaldehyde burn my eyes and the results didn’t last long. With this product which I used multiple times before, results last 1-2 months more than the other ones and is formaldehyde free which doesn’t cause cancer. Very easy to use if you’re a DIY type of person. Results last even more than the time I went to Ulta and spent more than $300 to get it done by a professional in their salon. I have extremely curly hair which is almost waist long and it makes it silky straight. Half a bottle is enough for each use. I leave it on about 45 minutes before ironing. The whole process takes me less than 2 hours at home. Definitely recommend it.

I purchased the Original Keratin Research Express Treatment. I watched a few YouTube videos where people used that product & it was very informative & helpful to see. I used a little over a 3rd of my 4oz bottle. It took me about 6 hours to do the entire process since I was doing my own hair & made sure I flat ironed each piece of hair 12+ times because I have very dense & coarse hair. I then left the product on my hair for 2 days before washing with Keratin Safe Shampoo & Conditioner this morning. I was very pleased to see that my hair was straight when I dried it but also excited that I didn't need to use nearly as much shampoo or conditioner in the shower because the treatment made my hair so much more manageable & silky. I then left & stood outside in the rain in front of the school waiting for students for about 20 minutes. I only had a few strands of hair buck up lol as I call it. In the past my hair would have reverted to a full blown afro in any type of dampness even with copious amounts of straightening & product on it. I am very happy with this & will continue using this treatment. I just suggest wearing gloves while using it. It makes your hands feel soft while its on them but when you wash your hands they then feel stripped & like sandpaper. I was able to exfoliate my face with just soap because of this lol but my fingers are still very uncomfortable. There was no burning of my scalp or hands but the fumes can sting your eyes a bit when you begin applying to hair around your face.

There is no awful smell and absolutely no fumes. I don't understand other reviews and assume that some people haven't read the instructions properly.This isn't applied like a lot of other keratin treatments. You rinse it out of your hair, blow dry it and THEN straighten. I think some people are straightening their hair with the product still on it.Anyway, I digress.I bleach and colour my hair which does take its toll. I applied Inverto One the day before yesterday and my hair looks and feels AMAZING. Even work colleagues have complimented my hair. When I get out of bed, my hair hardly even needs brushing. I usually wake to bed hair. I am so happy.If anything changes once I've washed it, I'll post an update.UPDATE as promised.A couple of washes down the line and I am once again waking up to bed hair. My hair has gone back to looking a little fluffy and damaged.However, when I wash and blow dry it, my hair does blow dry quite straight so I don't have to straighten it.In summary, my hair is in a bit better condition than what it was before but the difference is a little disappointing. I expected more hair repair from this product.

First I've to say that I've been doing keratin treatments for 15 years. I've bought products in Brazil that contained the "safe" amount of formol.I just finished doing my hair and I was struggling to breath because of the extremely strong smell from the fumes when I was using the straightners. How's it possible if this is supposed to be formol free? I never had a reaction like this when using keratin products. It doesn't have a bad smell when you apply or blowdry.

I have afro hair. I do this myself at home and I find it easy to use. Follow the clear instructions and you will see how lovely your hair turns out. For pure sleekness, it lasts about 6-8 weeks for me because my hair grows quick. If I'll use the straigtener once a week with this product, it's really good. I don't redo it until 3-4 months and my hair is still very good, it gets puffy at the base because of the regrowth but I just use the straightener and it works well - once a week. It seems to make my regrowth softer too!

I have been having Keratin blowouts for the last 7 both in the salon and doing them myself at home. What I love about this product is how simple and odour free it is. Unlike a lot of the products available there is no smoke and fumes with Inverto One as you rinse it off BEFORE drying and using the flat irons. It’s so simple and only takes a couple of hours for the whole process, unlike some treatments that have to be dried and straightened into the hair and then left on for 3 days. With Inverto One you use the shampoo, thoroughly dry your hair, shake the product well, apply it all over your hair and comb through, put a shower cap on for 90 mins, thoroughly rinse the product out, dry straight and then use the flat irons - done. This is now going to be the home treatment that I use. No mess, no smoke, no smell, just straigh, soft, shiny hair. I am half caste and naturally have tight curls.

This product was really really good very easy to apply and left my hair feeling silky soft and straight I had a few questions and emailed the company who responded immediately with all my questions answered would definitely recommend trying this and would definitely buy again
