Well made for the price
The product was very small and well made. I was able to see small details in the distance such as leaf detail and birds in the trees. I am excited to take it kayaking and see how it performs. For the price, I would recommend this product to others.

Perfect for survival kits
The easy of using it is phenomenal plus the extras that come with it make it amazing. The price point is perfect for my teen son who wanted to start a survival kit. The focus and accuracy is the scope works great for beginngers I believe. The size fits perfect in a 16L hiking backpack and still plenty of room for other items. I want to say that it seems to be pretty durable. The only downside is the phone attachment got stuck on the eye piece which ended up pulling on the eye piece and had to basically damage the eye piece to get it off. So I suggest just resting the phone attachment on the scope not pushing all the way on.

My review Pankoo 16 x 52 Monocular
Monocular has a 52mm lens so a good field of view. 16 power seems to be sufficient for most situations. The grip to focus on a object is ok. There is as focus scale label on the unit states from 1.5 to infinity. Helpful when first used to know what direction to turn to focus. However there is no mark on the adjusting ring to align the ring with the scale. It also has an eye adjustment if one eye strength is different from the other eye. It is lightweight. but a little larger than I thought when considering for backpacking use but the included case has a belt loop so no problem. At this price point the monocular is fine for quick viewing for birding and hiking

Dependable, Portable, and Very User-Friendly
This is very dependable, portable, and easy to use. It was simple to connect to my phone, and I didnโt have to adjust the focus muchโonce itโs set, itโs set. I originally got this as a gift to use on hikes, but I find myself reaching for it all the time now. I even take it to work and head into the hills during lunch to check out the wildlife. Highly recommendโgreat for everyone!

Good optics, bad build quality.
This monocular is not 40x60. It appears to be around a 12x50. I think the optics are great though! I gave it to a hard to please friend of mine and he was blown away by the optics too. He lives out in the country, so we viewed the sky in total darkness. As far as that goes, it's probably as good as the Gosky Titan, which was at the time, the same price that I paid for this one. I ended up buying the Gosky to replace it. The issue with the Pankoo I received was the build quality. To be more specific, the eyepiece. Had I not had to use it, I would have been totally happy with this monocular. The initial three times that I used it, there were no issues. The third time, when I pulled the eyepiece cap off, the eyepiece came off with it! I tried to snap it back on but it wouldn't stay there. Needless to say, that totally broke my heart because I really liked it. Maybe mine was defective but I read another review for the product and the same thing happened to them. When I sent it back, the Gosky Titan was available for the same price. I bought one to compare the optics and the Pankoo optics are on par with it. I'm not kidding when I say that the optics on this monocular are as good as the Titan, I can't stress that enough. The Gosky has great optics and the build quality is beyond reproach. However the optics with the Pankoo are so good that IMHO,If the manufacturer of this monoculars, marketed it as 12x50 magnification, redesigned the eyepiece, and undercut the Gosky(a well established brand) by $15 bucks, these things would sell like hotcakes. I gave it three stars based on the optics alone.

Great entry level monocular
Bought this specifically for a trip to Costa Rica, and was impressed by the clarity and range that it had. It was easy to use and adjust things into focus, and was able to see fairly far for a simple monocular. The mini tripod that came with it is great for holding it steady, and is really useful for other devices as well. Item arrived quickly, packaged well, and we're happy with it.

Monocular
Excellent telescope. I found it very easy to use and was just the right size to carry for hikes. I used it in Costa Rica and found it was wonderful for spotting all the birds and sloths in the trees. The tripod was easy to set up and really sturdy. Would highly recommend

Inexpensive, useful, nice accessories
I was surprised at how petite and light this prism Pankoo is, compared to my Nikon scope. Of course, the Nikon gear will survive a lifetime of use. But, the Pankoo is cheap! Many virtues. The 12x60 mono is bright. Useful magnification with a minimum focusing distance of 15'. Detailed enough at 200m for marine birds. At this pricepoint, I do not expect chromatic aberration correction etc under adverse conditions. The mono comes with an attached hand strap on the right. I am able to hand hold the mono securely with the right hand, and focus with the forefinger. While stabilizing the right elbow with my left hand. Yes, the 12x mono has a narrow field of vision, with tunnelling. Not suitable for birds in flight. The mono comes with a standard 1/4โ thread for a tripod plate. The thread is protected with a rubber housing. The weakest part of the package is the plastic adapter for the smartphone. It will only accept phones of a narrow width. My Samsung A54 will not fit. Moreover, the barrel tunnelling makes it hard to get a clear picture. IMO, a small camera system would be much better for pics and video. There's a neat soft case to securely hold all the parts. Have not tested the waterproofing and anti-fogging abilities of this equipment. I would recommend this monocular primarily for the low price and weight for birding and surveillance. On the other hand, you might prefer a birding 8x42 binoculars for its quality and wide field of view.

Not 40x60.
Not 40x60. I compared with my 12x binoculars and it was roughly the same level of magnification.
