NPN Model Did Not Work: So much time wasted!
I ordered two of the NPN pulse models and spent many hours trying to get them to work. The manufacturer was responsive via email, but ultimately both of the anemometers I ordered would not work with any setup. I tried no pullup resistor, 2kΩ, 10kΩ, 100kΩ, various voltages, tested with a LabJack, tested with an oscilloscope, and nothing. No response at all. Ultimately I had to return them and get my money back, too bad I can't get my time back.
