Made in USA. Military Burial Flag Case for 5'x9.5' Flag - Gun Metal Finish

Of all the ones I looked at, I really loved this one the best—and I’ll make it work! The edge design has a raised portion which will allow for an engraved plate of only a 1/2” height. These aren’t easy to come by. I’m still hunting around. As soon as it arrived, I removed my husband’s father’s flag from its case to be sure it fit. I first discovered that the back cover of the case is not solid wood like the case. It’s more like the backing you find on picture frames. Next I put the flag in the case and discovered this case is slightly shallower than the other case…and the flag had no “wiggle room” in the depth. I put the back cover back on and discovered that it was a good thing the backing had a little flex in it! It was a tight squeeze. The flag is a typical military burial flag. I’m presuming they’re all the same. I won’t have my husband’s flag till September 1st when he is buried with full honors at Arlington National Cemetery. Even with its little quirks, I still love the case and am determined it will work out fine! 🇺🇸

Finally, a first class product worthy of my Great Uncle's flag. I bought a different flag case recently and wish I had returned it and bought from this company. You do get what you pay for. Packaged very securely. No dings, chips or flaws. It is perfect and it takes a lot to impress me. I might try to return the POS I bought that my Grandfathers flag is in and buy another from these guys. Heck, if the other guys won’t take it back, I’ll burn it.
