Bought this to sew waistbands into some shorts I made for my kids. I am really impressed with the quality and quantity for the price. It’s a true 1 inch, and it’s a softer more flexible feel than other elastics I’ve purchased. I’ll be purchasing again.

Needed elastic to make some scrunchies as gifts and this worked perfectly. It is good quality and seems pretty durable. Easy to cut and sew with.

This is serious elastic, clean, firm, and strong. I had trouble with it. I don't think the fault lies in the elastic, but in what I was trying to do with it--sew a waistband for a costume. Because the elastic is so strong, I had trouble getting it into the casement. When I tried to pull it so I could sew, it wouldn't yield and the sewing machine needle broke. After four times, I switched to an elastic with more give, and the waistband went in perfectly. As I said before, this is good elastic, but very strong. Make sure that strong is what you want.

I originally bought this 3in 120Yard Black elastic band for a small DIY fix around the house, and it ended up solving one of my biggest daily annoyances as a parent. We have a California king bed with an upholstered frame, and my toddler’s toys — especially balls — were constantly rolling under the bed. It was driving me crazy having to fish things out multiple times a day. I wrapped this 3-inch elastic band around the outer edge of the bed and secured it with safety pins to the fabric frame. It creates a simple barrier, and surprisingly, it works really well. The elasticity is strong enough to block toys from getting underneath, but still flexible. One thing I’d suggest: use a few extra safety pins along the sides, not just at the ends. That makes it much more stable and keeps everything in place. Obviously this isn’t what the product is designed for, but if you have kids and the same problem, this is an easy and affordable fix that actually works. Hope this helps other parents who are tired of fishing toys out from under the bed like I was.
