I much prefer graphic novels over standard books. Although I do wish the series came in hard cover, I’ve enjoyed reading them regardless.

Awesome shape

My 11 year old son read this book cover to cover very quickly on the day he got it. I take that to mean it was pretty captivating. This is a very popular series with the upper elementary kids and he was absolutely elated about receiving this as a gift. Since this series deals with scary topics, I would not gift it to another child without knowing how the parents feel about it.

Great book. I recommend reading the first couple pages thoroughly if you're gonna read the fourth closet. It's really important especially later on. Plus one of the characters exclaims "It was a battle royale out there!" 🥀✌️
